You know, the BloodRayne games weren't bad but were largely forgettable. I think it's pretty crazy they managed to make three films but I'm sure they're cheap to make.

First one cost $25 million, the next two were $10 million each.

How is it possible that Uwe Boll continues to get even that much to make his movies? That is truly one of the great mysteries of our time.

Five years ago. They changed it in 2005 and the loophole was completely non-existent by 2006.

That looks like the first Uwe movie I could mildly enjoy, if only for kitsch value and Nazi choppin'. Doubt I'd ever give it a download though.

The Damned United

I care very little about European soccer so I was rather surprised when a friend who hates soccer recommended me this movie.  I had only the vaguest notion of the story it was loosely based on but I decided to watch it anyway.  Turns out it is pretty fucking amazing.  Michael Sheen gives one of those performances that should wine Oscars if the academy wasn't so hung up on the fact that mental incompetency is a barrier to truly great roles.  It certainly helps that he is playing off actors that great in their right.  Loved it and can't suggest it highly enough.
I was shocked how much I enjoyed this movie. It is not the movie I'd normally like but it was great. The director's next movie is getting some pretty insanely strong buzz too.

Looks he made the movie while still at Capcom.

Also, the movie is being released direct to Xbox Live.  :lol

They did a good job mimicking the rougher animation style from the mid-60's to mid-70's that the original shorts used.

The Hunger outline, review to come never:

Tony Scott's directoral debut/vampires, sort of, but not really/David Bowie/Susan Sarandon's perfect breasts/terrible, incomprehensible editing/Susan Sarandon's horrible acting/BAUHAUS/(Willem Defoe)/nonsensical ending after a series of false endings

Aesthetically, it's exactly how a vampire movie should be.  I can't say I watched it for any other reason, so I was pleased with it overall.

The Dark Knight Rises villain is Catwoman.

http://www.deadline.com/2010/11/chris-nolan-lines-up-actresses-for-batfilm/
Quote
EXCLUSIVE: Chris Nolan is lining up actresses he'll meet for two female lead roles in The Dark Knight Rises, the third installment of the Batfranchise which Warner Bros has dated release on July 20, 2012. I'm told one of the roles is a love interest for Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne, and the other is a villain. The actresses are: Rachel Weisz, Naomi Watts, Blake Lively, Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway and Keira Knightley. Nolan is keeping the roles under wraps, just the way that he did when he drafted his Inception star Tom Hardy to come aboard to likely play a villain. Deadline broke that story October 13. I'm still not sure what the role is and I believe Hardy took the job without knowing or reading a script that's still being tweaked.

Catwoman fits better than Poison Ivy, and they wouldn't do Harley Quinn without the Joker.

Unless there's some word play going on here, it says TWO female roles. A Batman love interest. And a villain.

Seeing how Nolan says the main appeal of him doing the third film is to have closure and end his series on his own terms something no super hero movie did I would bet he would have it be Talia. It'd be a perfect way to come full circle and end the trilogy.

It makes the most sense in it being the finale film to bring it back to Begins.

Talia would be great.  Assuming she had the information and resources of Liam Neeson, that means she has an army of ninja and knows that Bruce is Batman.

It would be awesome if she is just a cocktease for Bruce.  Final minutes of the movie is Bruce thinking he's about to get down, then Tom Hardy walks in and puts on a gimp mask; re-origins of Bane.

didn't they just do the effects for both?  and from what I could tell, both look generic story wise, but from the trailers battle seems to have bigger and more interesting set pieces.
