Quote
From NBC/NJ's Adam Aigner-Treworgy
When McCain boarded his campaign plane with Rob Portman in preparation for his flight to Des Moines, just as the bailout legislation was defeated on the House floor, he ignored questions shouted by reporters from under the wing about the fate of the bill.

It's unclear if he could hear the questions, but when he heard reporters shouting his name he turned and waved.
:lol

So all last week he bragged about his trip to Washington, now he has nothing to say. Holy fuck, is this man trying to lose the election

Hmmm, can I just use a picture of Raymond Chandler?  Maybe go back to Bertolt Brecht, the lovable commie?

EDIT: Actually, only The Big Sleep is from the 30s, so I guess Chandler doesn't fly.

Governor Palin has decided to withdrawal from the vice president debate due to the rising prices of milk and bread. Because Obama failed the American people, Palin - like many American women - is on her way to Walmart to take care of her family. As a mother who decided to carry her children to term and then not abort them as Obama and the radical left would suggest, she has everday duties that are more important than debating

Haha, he has no choice.  One of McCain's economic advisers was on MSNBC just now and David Schuster was pretty much not having it.  I would expect McCain to take a pretty big whack on this.  Honestly, Obama might lose a few points too as people will likely just be disgusted with Washington in general.

On a personal note, I turned down an actual job offer at the 11th hour last week.  Fewer projects than usual lately and I didn't want to have to dip into my savings but now it looks like that's what will happen at least in the short term.
