the controls are imprecise and the game has a weird ghosting effect going on. other than that it's seems pretty fun.

what is in the locked chest that tells you to go to fable2.com? dlc?

I don't know but I thought that was lame.

Did you get the LE? it comes with a code to enter on the XBLA which unlocks a bunch of Halo stuff.  You get the laser sword, armor set like Master Chiefs, and the actual title of Master Chief.

There's a web movie you can watch, and at the end you pick a crown and it gives you goodies. The prizes are useless, the Pub Game prizes are better.

after they cut out all the goodies and my amazon preorder at $66.99 didn't look like a deal anymore? hell no.

evil points.

game is awesome so far. i thought you guys were joking about condoms being in the game lol

I don't know but I thought that was lame.

it is lame. making people wonder why they can't open the chest and having to go online to find out what could be in it is pretty shitty.

I didn't get any evil points for pub games cheat.  I think it is only if you have a ton of money and I only had about 300 thousand.  I invested most in shops and get about 4,000 every minute or so.

Stupid question.  Is anyone elses 360 much louder with the Fable 2 disc?  It sounds like a jet engine taking off when playing Fable 2.  I thought my 360's disc drive was going but I put in my Rock Band 2 disc and it sounded fine. ???

Not a stupid question archie.  My normally quiet falcon elite sounds obnoxiously loud with fable 2.  I thought something was wrong with my 360 when it was going

Same here.  The game running choppy didn't help ease my worries either.

I really wish that the new 360 dash was out so I could install this for both noise and load time reduction.

In bowerstone you can sleep above the pub I think.

I just bought my first house and got married.  Decided not to do children yet.  I spent soooooooooooooooo much time on that stupid blacksmith mini game so I could buy a damn house for the goddamn barmaid.

I just banged her and now people find me more attractive.

But now, where the fuck is the bookstore?  I can't find it for the life of me.  I even searched in Old Bowerstone but it's such a mess and the map sucks.

yeah my 360 sounds like its eating the disc.  I thought it was because my system is sitting upright.   Reminds me of Gears 1...that's another oddly loud as shit game.

:bow November 19th :bow2

It's right next to the clock tower.  If the pub is north, and the blacksmith is east, then the bookstore is west.

I've killed two wives so far.  The first one I married, had unprotected sex, she had a kid, and then right after I force threw her and hacked her with my sword, and she fell right on top of our bed, completely dead.  Then child protective services came and took my baby away.

Second wife, I force threw her off the balcony of my house, and she landed right in the middle of the clock tower square.  I had to do community service for that one since like half the town saw her die.

GOTY, btw, GOTY!

That's an unfair comparison though, since the Witcher is better than everything.

I'm digging the arcadey feel of this game, though some of the consolized bullshit pisses me off:

--would not need a vaseline filter on PC
--Leaving quests = reverting to your last save and losing everything? WOT
--Entering the pause menu for everything, having to leave after using an item.
--Automated potions/expressions
--shitty framerate.  granted some of the animations may still be choppy, but I'll always miss 60fps.

Only glitch I've run into was in brightwood.  kept hitting start to get to my menu and instead it kept saying "Game Paused." yay!

That sounds like a lot but really, the game is awesome so far.

I just sacrificed my wife + 3 aristocrat skanks at the temple of shadows for a whopping 300 temple points! yeah!

I'm guessing you get two sleezy women (bar waitresses are easy targets) and ask both to come back to your house with you, then when you choose the bed it should orgy I guess.  I'm gonna try it tomorrow.  I still need to get married and I'm pretty sure I missed out on a big part of the game since I didn't get married.

I'm trying to play it fairly balanced for now.  I'm good to my wife.  I haven't stolen.  I do the assassination missions though.  And I will probably cheat on her at some point for shits and giggles.  But man, this game is so fucking fun and I don't accomplish anything.

you don't have to be married to have sex. some girls will follow you home if asked and others won't.

Fable 1 is an OK game, as long as you're not expecting too much. Very hack and slash, shallow plot, confined to small paths, and over in like 10 hours. From what everyone is saying about Fable 2, it sounds great though.

found a work around for the glitch I ran into early on.  Just finished a super marathon session with the game.  mostly side quests.

Favorite moment so far:
Having sex with my husband and immediately trying to get him to go for another round to which he replied, "Not again.  I'm still sore, sweetie!"

I dunno what the deal is, but the furniture seller at Bowerstone Market never has shit anymore. She used to have 40+ items on sale, but now she has 1 - a stupid book. I tried selling her some of my old shitty furniture to kick start her profits or something, but the next day she was selling the same book and my shitty furniture. Then the next day she sold off my furniture and she's back to selling only a book. I have no idea what spurred this.

Any ideas? Should I kill her to get the shop to reboot, or are the wares unrelated to the owner?

fuck it's a glitch

Stock up on furniture guys, someone there said that the other furniture store doesn't stock sinks and stoves. I've got a house I want to renovate but I can't :(

Combat's fun. I like the magic a lot, stuff like Force Push and Time Stop is really entertaining to fool around with. Swordplay is typical hack-slashy mash X stuff, but I love using everything (magic, sword, gun) I have in combat and messing around with combos.

It's also really, really easy and hard to die.

Combat is decent enough, but at times it can get really annoying.  I'm not a fan of how you have to hold down the button to activate certain things.  Like, to manually aim your gun, you hold down the button, to shoot you quickly let go and press down again...It's like MGS2 from hell.

I like the combat, but find the social aspects tacky.  I mean, you do one gesture and the whole fucking town surrounds you and flips out. :lol

but the combat is right in a lot of respects.  While it's easy, the enemies do attack, so it's not like some Dynasty Warriors shit.  When the enemies are stronger, like the guys brightwood tower, it feels great.  You have to actually block and roll a lot, hits do some damage.  I wish the game had a hard mode for combat--it's a lot of fun, but the fights are always too short.
