I got kicked out of Vault 101 - for good this time.  They all hate me now.  :(

I should've gone all Columbine on their asses before I left.

This game is wicked, but I've made all the lame choices so far.  I'm going to have to replay it to get the cool stuff - like blowing up Megaton, flooding Vault 101, etc.

I just suck. :(

Alright, that's it. God damnit.  This game is fucked when it comes to the lawbringer perk.  After the previous incident at the Regulator ranch, I bit the bullet and re-did 2 hrs worth of work by using a previous save.  Thinking that it was just an isolated incident, I picked the lawbringer perk again and this time I was able to meet with the head of gang.  Everything was fine and dandy until I decided to bring in my bag of fingers.  I fast traveled to the ranch and lo and behold we had 1 sentry bot, 2 giant radscorpions, and an enclave dude having a battle right outside of the thing.  I ran inside the ranch only to find everybody running into each other while the leader of this chicken shit outfit was cowering in the corner bent over with her hands over her head.  I clicked on the bitch and the game said she was "fleeing".  Right after that, she bolted out the fucking door and ran into the wasteland never to be seen again.  Beautiful.  I'm screwed once again.

Fuck the lawbringer perk and Bethesda's decision to place the Regulator ranch right in the middle of giant radscorpion fuck valley.  :punch

Being the law in the wasteland is like being the ultimate badass.  People believe you to be the savior of the world because you kill bad guys.

And I think I remember Giant Radscorpions.  I call them by their proper name now of -3 shotgun shells to the face.

It's not that I have trouble taking down the things it's just that anything outside of that Regulator Ranch sends those idiots into a 3 alarm panic while their leader runs off into the wild.  I thought these fuckers were supposed to be bad asses?  The kid in Grayditch is more brave than these morons.

I tried talking with the people Paradise Falls to let the slaves go, but I could only get the kids free and that wasn't enough, so I killed everyone there except for the slaves.

I just did the Paradise Falls run myself and slaughtered everyone.  Looks like Eulogy Jones was some kind of pederast.  Brutal justice netted me awesome karma.  I also disarmed the bomb and got a house.  Sweet.

I just got entrance to Little Lamplight, but now I can't find the Mayor to get into Vault 87.  Anyone know where the fuck this snot nosed asshole is?

So you can beat the main quest in like 16 hours or so if you push ahead, I guess.  I think I'll beat it and then replay with a new character and do all the cool sidequests.  Unless, can you do sidequests after the end game?

Character animation is fine, especially when you shoot out someone's legs and watch them slowly limp away as you follow shuffling through weapons wondering if you should punch his head off or burn him.

I don't know if it's my goty or anything, but if it does get goty from all the media and shit like that, I would totally understand.  I don't know exactly what my favorite game this year is considering two big games for me are coming out in the next two weeks (left 4 dead and Mirror's Edge).

And I thought Vesperia was the best RPG this year so far, but Fallout 3 destroys it.  Unless Persona 4 turns out better than I expect, Fallout 3 will destroy that also.

I also trained up in power armor and killed some enclave fucks. Im like The Batman of Megaton now.

It's not that bad if only because it makes sense in the Fallout world.  In Mass Effect it was like everyone shopped at the same bunker supply shop, but here the vaults all came from vault-tec and were mass produced in that style.  I assumed they would be different if only because the vaults important to the story are different, but the side ones have the same basic layout to 101 and it is a bit annoying to go to through the same locations.  They are worth checking out for the crazy experiments each has and the bobbleheads.

Yeah I got a kick reading about some of the vaults at the Citadel.  Like 87 for example was purposely fitted with an inadequate power supply, a doctor that was unaware that he had terminal cancer with approximately 40 more months to live, and a whole arsenal of weaponry.  lol...poor bastards.
