I did that quest hours ago, but it was still mislabbeled as all fuck ("We passed by the maintenance room on the third floor I think there's one there" oh, fuck you game. Thank you for that direction....THAT YOU CANT EVEN GET TO THE THIRD FLOOR BECAUSE THE FUCKING GAME BLOCKS THE THIRD FLOOR). I got enough batteries now. But still, fuck the game. I can't find the photo.

And the game isn't hard, it's just terrible and ridiculously un well communicated.

the floor the battery on is the floor right under you, with the bar and restaurant, wtf. You can count floors by using the local map. -- what quest are you talking about?

I don't think I spent close to six hours TOTAL in tunnels and I found pretty much every DC location in the game, barring a couple that I didn't bother with.

The picture of the Lincoln Memorial is in the library area, tacked proudly above someone's desk.

even then once you get to each station, even overland, after that the only time you hit tunnels are for quests.

I'm talking about Head of State where you need to find a photo for the slave.

And I know where the battery is, I did that quest (reilys) hours ago, but it was distinguished mentally-challenged because he said it was on the maintenance floor, not in a maintenance closet.

So what attributes and skill sets do you guys usually go towards when you level up?  I was sick of not being able to hack shit, so I'm starting to boost my science skill more, but I want to be able to fuck some shit up, so I'm going to start bumping up heavy weapons.

I just plan around my perks. Honestly skills outside of Science and Lockpicking and Charisma are pretty useless in this game.

Science, Lockpicking, and Speech were the first three I put a lot into. Once I got Science and Lockpicking up to 100 and a decent amount in Speech, then I started putting all my points into Small Arms, with a few into Repair and Explosives.

fuck hacking, I just made sure lockpick and medicine were at least 50, then dumped almost everything into speech small guns and energy weapons. Having energy weapons high makes late game soooooooooooooo easy

I don't bother doing the hacking mini game or lock pick anymore.  I just F5 - force lock - F9 (if I failed) until it works.  For hacking I click random shit until it works, if it doesn't, I quick load.

you know for hacking you can fail three times, then power off the computer, then power it on again, and you get 4 tries again. Just never use that last one.

Mines the hunting rifle without a doubt. I love running up to their faces, activating VATS and blowing their head off in a bunch of chunks. Plus I have that one perk that makes them explode = orgy all over my face.

Too bad the game isn't as cool as it's battle system.

I had to send Dogmeat back to wait at the vault, otherwise I would have killed him myself.  He's useful out on the field, but is just a serious pain in the ass when you're trying to maneuver around in small areas and corridors.

Probably one of the best missions i've ever played in a game, i'll give FO3 that. The ending to that mission was classic.

What does a laser gatling gun count as? Energy weapon? Big guns? I gave the gatling laser to the mentioned super mutant and kept to my plasma rifle.

I don't know, but it has a weird name and is a unique weapon.

I'm trying to collect all the super weapons and just collected allt he Keller audio logs.  If my game didn't crash because Windows update popped up, I would have gone and gotten that gun that shoots EIGHT NUKES AT ONCE!

I also saw an Enclave helicopter coming to attack me.  I never saw that happen before, but I'm in such a high league that I have about 400 stim packs I never use and I only really use the Hunting Rifle.  I actually ran into that Centaur enemy just recently and was like "wow, 40 hours ago I was actually running away from you, now I waste one bullet"

I keep "accidentally" solving quests by helping people, boosting my karma, but I murder everyone I meet out on the plains because I'm a greedy poor and I killed everyone in Megaton who gave me lip (gonna blow it up anyway).  So what am I missing out on by being Neutral status all the time?  I must be missing out on all of the bonuses you get from swaying either way.

Or, let me put it another way, since I know what I'd like to be: is there anyone I SHOULDN'T kill if I want good armor/weapons/rewards?  Who needs to live so I can procure a house?  And is there always an evil way to solve quests and still complete them?
