Just because I don't like the game doesn't mean I can't say it has some good things. I love the perks, and I loved that robot mission, just the game is way too scary for me, and I don't really like that. Kinda feels like it's a job to get through the game, similiar to Bioshock.

Y'see, I just can't parse that one, either. Something can be either scary OR boring, but not both, right? Unless suspense makes you bored, in which case your brain may be wired differently than normal humans. Or maybe it's the result of 7 years of never having the color-coded Threat Level System go beneath "Elevated" to either of its lower two ranks.

It's the indoor areas that get to me. Dark creepy buildings I can't handle. :( Even being in the underworld unnervs me because it's connected to a scary place.

Yeah, I can see that.  The flashlight they give you is so fucking pathetic.

I killed this huge mutant with a couple of mini nukes before I met 3 dog. That was cool. I was a little pensive cause I didn't know if the mini nuke would kill me too. Good times. Just took the toughness perk.  I know I'm way early in the game, but still.

Yeah did the same thing.  In fact I think that's HOW you have to kill the behemoth.

I dont even know what key uses it on the pc :lol

Truth be told I got through most of the more intense areas of the game by having my pipboy tuned into Galaxy News Radio, I love the songs and the radio dramas. Im tired of hearing about grayditch tho. I saved that place, shut up Three Dog.

I don't get how anyone got by without using the flashlight.  Do you guys have the brightness turned up or something?  I know for a fact that I wouldn't have been able to find some of these items without the light from the pipboy.  It's pitch black in certain places.

The only place in the game that really required the flashlight for me was Deathclaw cave.  It's almost pitch dark and the fuckers jump out at you from all sorts of places.

And the music is so awesome.  I have one save game that loads up just as "You know you can get hurt that way, Daniel?" starts up.

Sigh. Only in a Bethesda game would you be required to exploit the game to do a quest.

Now I have to wait 20 days for that other fucking bug Bethesda couldn't fix, Hannibal not appearing at the memorial.

Why? Because Bethesda couldn't program the game correctly so that you don't have to exploit it to do a quest? :/.

Also that was a let down at the Jefferson Memorial. Although guess i'm used to it with this game.

If they can't code a work around for a thing they added into the game, then it's broken. Just because there's a perk that can get you behind doesn't mean shit. What if it breaks again?

the tunnels are repetitive, but made better by the fact that you can look on the pip and see where you should be going exactly.

thankfully you only have to do them once.  because if you're smart you'll venture out of the tunnels to snag the outside locations for quick travel

hell, half the time you dont have to use tunnels to explore new stations. The tunnels are such a small portion of the game. And repetitive tunnels? What do you expect? Go to any city with a subway system, they wouldnt decorate a subway tunnel all chinese cause it runs under china town. Tunnels all look the same because tunnels ultimately exist to serve a single function. What do you expect?

hannibal doesn't appear at the memorial, he appears at the subway entrance near the memorial.  you have to go talk to him so that he knows the coast is clear.  otherwise you will wait forever.  it is not a bug, it is a part of the storyline.

I just hate stupid people, it kind of irks me. I mean, don't you? Don't you just want to choke the life out of them and stop being a drain to society? Kill or be killed. The strong survive.

Also - quests. Get some. They're out there. Look. Read a FAQ, something.
