I was just looking up the Geto Boys on Wikipedia and found this gem

I just hope The Weeknd doesn't sign with YMCMB next year, assuming he hasn't already. I have no problem with him hanging around with Drake because to be honest, the stuff he's done with him (The Zone and Crew Love) was great. But signing to Cash Money would result in his career being repackaged and oversaturated with Lil Wayne, Nikki Minaj, etc while being forced to make club bangers. I'm sure the dude could do a club song, but overall that's not who he is as an artist.

The last thing I want is a Weeknd single featuring Lil Wayne, on a Lex Lugar beat $:-\$

Does anyone here listen to videogame music? Probably around 50% of my weekly listening is to game soundtracks or remixes. I don't know anyone else who does though. Feel like it's a niche within a niche.

I've been listening to the Square Enix remix cd collection they put out. They made a 5 cd set of remixes of all their classic tunes from across the entire game library (even stuff like Einhander gets represented) and each cd is in a totally different style. Like there's a chiptunes cd called SQ Chips, and a vocal cd of mainstream band versions called SQ Cafe, and a jazz cd called SQ Chill, etc....

Anyhow, only listened to the chiptune album so far and this track (SAGA 2) really stuck out as being awesoooome:
