Fortune Street had such positive reviews and so I wondered what the hell it is. It can be horribly random and Monopoly like, but there's some fun aspects to it where I spent more time with it than I thought I would, especially online. The stock buying brings me back to manipulating crap in Railroad Tycoon 2 and other similar games from that era. Was playing with some people in Asia and slowly buying small parts of stock in their districts while stacking up mine. So people land on their spots, I get money, they land on my spots I get more money. Also would loop around and avoid their side of the map to pay like 15 gold on less developed side while everyone else plowed through it paying 250 gold. Shot me from fourth with 2500 gold to first with 8000 gold in a few turns and then I just looped around to the Bank to win. Not amazing, but I can see why some people like it, could be good at a party or gathering since I know plenty of people who love Monopoly and other games of that type. Might play it in the future while waiting on stuff like I sometimes do Mario Kart online.
Medal of Honor (2010) just a little into this, but I heard it was only 5-6 hours long so figured I could play through it in a few one hour sittings and was in the mood for some shootin of that type ala BC2 single player. Like the guns a lot more than BC2 or MW3. Would be farther along but I kept going on wiki to look up the locations and battles. (And the Tier 1 groups and their fun over the decades.) Imagine my disappointment with BC2 when I learned there wasn't a massive ship graveyard in the Atacama Desert. Game also needs a facial hair customization feature, it's hard to play through not knowing if I have a beard or not.
Star Trek Online didn't grasp me, but I'll probably give it some more tries just because of the license. Might be my system but the UI seemed all fucked up. Maybe I'm just used to things like Guild Wars with sensible UIs.
Other than that, Batman: Arkham City still has a few things to collect for the Riddler missions but that feels like work. And I keep forgetting to play Rochard which I really enjoyed the demo of. Probably should have finished Batman and done Rochard instead of dicking around with MoH and Fortune Street.
Wait, I have Bulletstorm lingering too. Maybe I'll get to that after I play more TF2 and...just got Alice for $2 with that Amazon coupon. I intend to figure this out.
