Did a 9 hour session today and finished my 2nd BBS character.  Very impressed with how little content is recycled between the 3 characters.  Add up all the content of the 3 character runs and you have about the same as a big budget console rpg like KH2.  One more to gooooo

Haven't played much since Uncharted 2 due to time constraints, but I did manage to finish and 100% Pixeljunk Shooter recently. Incredible game, also the first Q title I could really get into (controls for Eden pissed me off).

Getting a taste of Darksiders and Bayonetta at a friend's rekindled the need for games completely, I'll be checking those out as soon as I can

And with that, I am done with Bayonetta. For now at least.

Gonna finally finish up Dragon Age now.

ODST is old and busted, nobody wants to play with me uguu
It has its issues, but I thought it was a good campaign.  The night sections had fantastic atmosphere and the missions themselves were generally pretty well designed.  I much preferred it to Modern Warfare 2 as well, honestly.

Firefight mode is also a blast.

I fucked around with the Kilgore on Normal and Hard, but I didn't use it on Infinite Climax. It doesn't really change much any way.

I fucked around with the climax bracelet I got through the phones using the codes, and it made the game un-fun and way too easy, so I don't even bother to use it now.  Mehhhh.

Don't know if I feel motivated to 1000 the game, I'm almost finished with hard mode and I think I might just take a break from it - still need to finish that, do infinite climax, and do a bunch of the Alfheims.  Might just switch back to Assassin's Creed 2 instead.

chartzzzzz is as accurate as my butt.  Bayonetta pushed ~300k in Japan and has probably done 100-150k in the rest of the world which means it will hit 500k soonish.

The Kilgore exploit just gives a boost in damage... it's not like any enemy in the game is hard to kill without it. On Inf. Climax, only the 3x Gracious and Glorious and 3x Joys fights are annoying to PP since they're just a clusterfuck. They're pretty easy to take out if you can separate them though. I'm still missing 3 accessories too. Fuck it.

The nunchucks are awesome by the way. They were my secondary weapon (+ Bazillions on feet) for most of the game. I always have the Gaze of Despair equipped and the nunchucks stun them when you're comboing enemies, unlike the Katana.

MW 2.
Forza 3.
Borderlands.

I can always cycle between those three when I'm looking for something to play.

I need a "big" game though in addition since I won't have anything like that to play until Mass Effect 2 comes in on gamefly.

Debating between Tales of Vesperia, Drakensang, or FF 12 which I bought a long time ago but never even booted up.

Played Fatal Frame 4 for about 1 hour now. Total playtime is now 2 hours.
The game could've been so much better if it had traditional controls. The motion controls are unresponsive and way too slow. An encounter with more than one ghost is a total disaster thanks to the controls.

 ??? They're pretty dumb and completely deaf.  You can dive in the water a foot from a guard and climb out the water and run around in circles behind his back steal the treasure he is guarding and jump past him into the water and he won't turn around ^^;

I think AI is one of the areas where AC3 could improve.  Would be neat if they at least added an optional "hard" mode where you had to play super stealthy like MGS's higher difficulties.

Machinarium, Realmyst and Borderlands. Due to being at work a lot and I work on a Mac I'm playin some point and clicks, I'm finding both games pretty cool. Borderlands is actually aiight, bought the game on release, first I played as a Soldier then the angry big guy in co-op with friends. Found it boring and didn't touch it for a while. Picked it up again singleplayer as a Hunter and I'm finding the game much more fun. Bloodwing is pretty ace.

Multiplatform fightin' gamin'.

-Street Fighter IV: Always awesome!  Still stuck in the lowly G2 class on both platforms.  If I just put the PS3 version aside and focused on the 360 version, maybe I could make G1 in the next couple of weeks.  Still have around 7000 points to go.  But at the same time, if G1 is still lacking in matches as people used to say, then I'm in no hurry to move up.

-Tekken 6: Had some better matches tonight, but there's still too many idiots playing.  This time I didn't get any rage quitters, but I did run into this one guy with a mic who bitched and whined nonstop.  Right at the beginning, he was talking to someone else offline and saying how "these bitches don't know how to play this game...always complaining when they lose."  And he did nothing but that.  I ran into him again right before I stopped playing for the night (maybe 45 minutes later), and he was using the same character as me.  "I FINALLY FOUND THAT LYTE GUY WATCH ME BEAT HIS FUCKIN' ASS!  I CAN DO THE SAME SHIT YOU LIKE THAT BITCH?!?"  Unfortunately, he couldn't do the same shit and he lost.  There's no way to find people in Tekken 6, so this guy spent all that time hoping to catch me again.   Tekken players continue to amaze me.

And it's time to dust off the Wii and throw in Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom CGoH to practice up for Ultimate All-Stars.

Foolishly I bought the Magic the Gathering XBLA title while it's on sale for 400 points. Thankfully there are no booster packs this time around. The original card game had me by the balls up until about Ice Age. It looks like a decent representation of the gameplay; better than the PC version they had for awhile, at least.

Its pretty decent, esp. for 400 points. I play the cardboard game quite often still  :'( Its so much fun. Let me know if you wanna boost the cheevs  :-* I have the viral achievement (0 points!)
Kewl, kewl. I need all the extra 0s in my Gamerscore as possible. I can just add that on the far right, turning 26,000 into 260,000, right?

I'm definitely up for player matches. It's been ages.

I've been playing Beatles Rock Band, trying to get the various "expert gold stars" doing nothing but singing, since I'm not good enough at the other instruments. Got two so far, and am stoked to see they've included unlockable gamerpics. :hyper

Tonight though I played more GTA4: Ballad of Gay Tony, and was really feeling it. I almost cleared the fight club sequence, but DQ'd myself by chasing the last guy into the entranceway.  :-\ Yusuf Amir is another great character for the GTA historybooks as well. I think I played his last mission tonight, and it was epic. I hope they can keep things funny when they do the next GTA, as Nico was dry as hell.

Spent over an hour playing Fatal Frame IV. The game gets better and better. And yeah, the story gets pretty interesting.
I didn't know EDGE gave this one an 8/10. Seems a bit too high, though. I know I trashed the graphics for this game but it really didn't deserve it. The graphics are really good and rape Silent Hill SM.
There's so much detail in the environments and the character animation is pretty good. The overall presentation of the game has been pretty great so far. I remember people complaining about bugs and game breaking glitches that can be found in the game. I'm saving on two files just to be sure lol.

Also playing Overlord II. The game is great. It starts of pretty slow, but once you conquered the first town it gets awesome.

FF13 is not 90 hours!

I haven't played DQVII.  I generally refuse to play an rpg that takes over 50-60 hours for the main story.  After that it's just stealing time from other games I could be playing instead.

Grandia 3... not so much. Story holds it back really.
Agreed on the story, but the battle system was fun. :bow AIR COMBOS :bow2

I still haven't played through the original Grandia. I tried to once on a PS emulator, but the sound stopped working after I got through some temple early in the game. I got pissed off and never used a PS1 emulator again.
