Finished inFamous and Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts last weekend. I'll write up some final thoughts in their respective threads, but both games were really very impressive.
Trenched is currently my main interest. As usual, I am happy to have given Double Fine some money to keep me laughing and sufficiently challenged in genres where I'm otherwise not usually interested. Personally, I can't stand Tower Defense, though I found "Hero Defense" in Army of Darkness Defense (iOS) to be plenty compelling. Although I will say one of my friends is a hardcore Tower-D fan, and he thinks Trenched is great.
I need to find some other bore-players with whom to tag-team; apparently the most recent players you've co-op'd with are a "Regiment," and provide unlock boosts for each other even when not playing together. Kind of an "ad hoc clan." Pretty slick. I played a game with a random online partner yesterday morning; when I arrived home last night, I had new Regiment Progress unlocks from him. These are just a set of tallies measured across our entire group progress, unlocking stuff for each other. If you play singleplayer only, these tallies are still collected for your "regiment of one," but it's going to be slower progress.
