Link? I'd like to read them.

Just look out for Mimas' posts. Her/his posts are summing up impressions from 2chan; there's not much juicy stuff, but apparently most people are enjoying the beta. "But the general opinion seemed to be that it was Dragon Quest that just happened to be an MMO."

there is a glitch with killgore (it's the rocket launcher) that makes it totaly broken and awesome to use

1) use any weapon and start the multikicking attack (i think A->A->B will do it?)
2) as soon as the attack start switch to killgore
3) now every single kick will release a missile, releasing a shitload of missiles,it usualy does enough explosions to kill anything in one hit and severely damage bosses

awesome!

fuck this game is awesome, gonna 1000 this bad-bod for sure

also been working on my final achievement in Tales of Vesperia which is beat Barbos at <lvl15 which is zzzzzzzz, but it will be sweet to finally have that 1000 under my belt.

Since I've been so friggn poor I haven't been able to buy any new games so I'm slowly working across my shelf and mopping up achievements in all my old games. Feels good

Still playing Batman: Arkham City, the game just won't let me go. I may be at the end of my bat-rope with it though, because I'm having trouble with the Riddler's Revenge: Campaign and Combat missions. Prison Riot Extreme and Funhouse can slurp my bat-sac.

I switched back to Saints Row the Third for a bit, which may mean I'm done-done with Batman, because if I stay away from B:AC for any length of time, my muscle memory will never come back to its currently high (though still deficient) state. I wish I had been playing the fighting this well during my two run-throughs. I was a masher, until trying the challenges.

Anyway, SR3 Season Pass bought, I spent an hour trying to figure out where the missions were, and why they weren't showing up. It turns out the DLC wasn't even present. The DLC won't background download when purchased through the in-game store, so I had to wait on the Current Download screen until completion. Genki Bowl is disturbingly short. They have really kept the grotesque, dread, and cuteness of the Prof. Genki throughout, but there are only two instances of each activity, so I would have felt pretty ripped off if I'd spent 800 space bucks on an hour's worth of largely self-derivative gameplay.

There should be an ass-spanky mini-game with the Genki Girls.

Got Asura's Wrath from gamefly. If it's short I'll probably just try to blaze through it. Kinda in the mood for a ridiculous over the top moviegame.

About 40% into Silent Hill Downpour, and finally after 53 hours, I'm at the end stages (there's three of them and they're probably 90 mins each) of G Generations World.  Should be done with both before I start Kingdom Hearts this weekend.  Might even finish Edna & Harvey too.  All 3 are good games.

Fwiw, the games I'm in the middle of:

G Gen World (almost done)
Edna & Harvey  (3/4ths through)
FFXIII-2  (13 hours in, maybe halfway)
The Witcher  (25 hours in, 3/4ths through)
Super Robot Wars Alpha 3 (which is a 200+ hour game and has been taking me a loooong time, but probably less than 35 hours left)
Dark Souls  (15 hours in, 1/4th through?)
Tales of Xillia  (8 hours  in, 1/5th through)

My goal has been to not start any new games besides Kingdom Hearts 3D & Super Robot Wars Z2-2 until I finish the 10 or so games I started but didn't finish in the last year or so.  Almost all of them are 30-50 hour long games, but not letting myself get distracted on new stuff and sticking to one or two at a time has been working well to flush them out.  Feeling confident I'll be done with every game I was in the middle of by the summer and will then start a new batch of games.  Looking forward to playing Re:Revelations, Kid Icarus Uprising, Dead Space 2, Batman AC later in the year when I'm done with those.

Been watching the LOST ARCHIVES DLC for AC:Rev on youtube.  Almost done watching it, it's been boring but has a few tidbits of useful story info for the series and I am interested in the story of that series.

I'm slowly realizing that Journey and Demon's/Dark Souls have my favorite type of multiplayer, or at least co-op.  There's no planning or talking or anything.  You mostly just play it as a single player game with other players showing up to add the experience.  The reason I still haven't played Splinter Cell Conviction or Portal 2 co-op is because I don't want to play with randoms and don't want to make plans.  Which is weird since the Souls games and Journey are entirely random, but I guess it's because you can't talk that it makes it less awkward when you just want to play the game.  Communicating in Journey/Dark Souls is just vague gestures and stuff.

also really like how SSX and Motorstorm RC handle multiplayer.  it's more competitive but again I don't need to plan when to play with other people.

Bought Closure on the PSN spring thing. It's a black and white, light based puzzle game. I've only put in about an hour, so I'm still at the beginning, easy levels but the music and mood is great. I hope the mechanics don't wear out too soon

FINALY got the 1000/1000 in dark souls, there's not enough word to describe the amount of bullshit you have to suffer to get your 1000 between finishing the game, getting shards and the occasionaly shitty part (like going past the dragon) i'm also getting really close to 20.000 gamerscore... gonna take a commemorative pic later :-*

by the way the new dashboard sucks ass,the achievement page is all hidden in some "social" shitty section and now instead of showing every game you 1000 it only shows like the last 5 of them

I finished my first playthrough of DMC1. That game is still okay, but it's so hard to go back to now because the combo game has evolved so much between DMC3, 4, and Bayonetta. It's still fun though, and since the missions are so short, I'll probably go for an SB run through DMD.

But now I feel like continuing my Ninja Gaiden Black save file on the 360. NG3 might be kinda crappy, but at least it managed to reignite my interest in action games. I haven't really been interested in any of them since Bayonetta in 2010.

edit: ffffuuuuuu my NGB save got corrupted. Back to square 1. Again.

the first world was kinda boring but after that it exploded into awesomeness, donkey kong country return is probably the only other 2D sidescroller i would say that it's better... i don't like the fact that you need to collect all those trinket to get 100% on a level, but the levels where you chase the chest around are very fun

I think I'm finally done with Batman Arkham City; the game had me by the balls, but I have finally hit a wall on my own skill level. I completed Riddler's Revenge, but the conditions required to do them in Campaign are rage-inducing.

Just played and beat Ico for the first time. The music was probably my favorite part of the game. The camera and platforming were annoying at certain parts but not as bad as I had heard.

Took me about 5 1/2 hours. Not sure how its possible to get the under 2 trophy.

In a weird mood so I rebought COD 4 on the 360. Man that game is fun and still great in MP.

It's fucking hacked to all get out. It has a very low population count. Martydom still sucks. And no host migration. But man its still fun and lean and mean.

I so wish they would release a remastered version of that game that's hackproof and with just a few minor balance changes to remove the annoying stuff. I would so play the shit out of it.

Against my better judgement, I bought AMY when it first came out, assuming that I could enjoy what could be an albeit janky survivor horror.

I was so, so wrong. This game is just bad. I haven't even beat the first stage (Granted I am playing on HARD), but holy fuck it takes me a half hour justto get past one zombie. It's so bad.

Avoid this turd....

Currently firmly glued to my iPad. NSS is crack in game form. I can't score goals worth shit, tho. Plan B, aka "Letting the NPCs shoot" is even less likely to result in a goal. Those guys are utterly useless.  :-\

Also participated in the PoE open stresstest weekend. Nifty Diablo 2 clone. Love the trading system (no money in the traditional sense) and enchanted potions. Dislike the fixed Camera and general Diablo mood. It's so depressing. I'm not saying I want rainbows, unicorns and happy gay love everywhere. I just need at least some retreat from the doom and gloom every now and then.
Then again, it's not like I got very far or tried very hard, or maybe I just suck at Diablo-themed games. Plus, at least it's not :uguu.

Also: Paid for one month of WARPING TO STAR GATE. APPROACHING STAR GATE. ZzzzzZzZz. Perfect background game were it not for the fact that it eats up half of my RAM and then some.

Screw Ninja Gaiden Black. That game is slow and boring if you already learned how to play NG2. So I am going back to that instead, to try and improve my survival scores. Those missions show why NG2 is the pinnacle of action gaming: wave after wave of aggressive enemies, a battle with Fiend Genshin at the end of each loop, no healing items, one weapon, Final Destination. And it even has a good scoring system! One of the greatest games ever created. :bow

i imported my level 29 shepard from me2, so insanity has been pretty easy so far.  well, not easy, but not that hard either.  i just use lots of moves that stun enemies like lift or freeze, and then have my companions use their powers while i'm recharging.  there've only been like 2 rooms that i've actually had trouble with and those weren't even that bad.  i had way more problems with the mid-game boss and the end game fights in me2 on hardcore.

also nothing in single player is close to the gold difficulty maps in multi, GODDAMN

Me and my friend have been able to handle silver in ME3's multiplayer when we manage to find 2 good teammates. We're gonna try gold today, but I don't think my vanguard asari will be a good class at that difficulty. I shouldn't have been so quick to promote my human sentinel. Maybe I'll try engineer or soldier next.

start off playing gold against cerberus, as they're the easiest to win against.  geth are tough, and reapers are fucking insane and should not be taken on unless you have a high-level character with high-level guns.  also make sure to use your good disposable equipment!  once you get a little bit of practice in, gold is where it's at

i finished rayman origins,as i said first time it's really good, way better than an ubisoft game should be,lot of variety, nice music, features lot of big colorfull hd sprite... i'm slightly disappointed that there is no final boss and well it's kinda short but i guess if you wanted to squeeze more value out of it,you could replay the level for time trials/hidden stuff

There is a final boss and a final stage. You have to collect all of the red jewels (the missions where you have to chase the treasure chest) before it unlocks. I think.

asaris suck in multiplayer.  i hate stasis so much

start off playing gold against cerberus, as they're the easiest to win against.  geth are tough, and reapers are fucking insane and should not be taken on unless you have a high-level character with high-level guns.  also make sure to use your good disposable equipment!  once you get a little bit of practice in, gold is where it's at
Thanks for the advice. And yeah, I almost never use stasis. I'm done with this character once I hit level 20.

I would try infiltrator next, but I'm terrible at sniping. I think I'll go with a human soldier next. I haven't played as one since the original Mass Effect.

wow i swear i was thinking, "man i really wanted to fight that weird skull guy" :lol
the chest level are really fun,it's the banjo music that does it for me but the last one i unlocked it's so hard to the point of being annoying
