BCV: Battle Construction Vehicles Very strange game. As the name suggests, you fight using construction vehicles such as cranes, bulldozers and excavators. It is what would result if you removed every but the most cheesiest options from a regular fighting game. The basic goal is to stun-lock your opponent for 1% damage per hit for as long as possible, as any precision strikes using the actual attacks (frontal, right swipe, left swipe) are too difficult to land most of the time. If you do, they do a lot more damage per hit and can even be charged up, but again, the vehicles are too cumbersome to do that most of the time, so you best cheese your way through. To prevent it from being completely braindead (but I imagine somewhat playable in VS mode), the special attacks were designed in such a way as to punish exactly that tactic. If a vehicle takes a certain amount of hits (not damage, hits; which is why I think they are a stunlock counter more than anything) a circle of construction tape appears around it. If the opponent touches it, the special attack is unleashed. Dodging these when you have your opponent pinned to the wall, chipping away at them, is nearly impossible with all vehicles except the crane. As you might imagine, some vehicles have it easier than others. The smaller ones like the bulldozer, road roller and fork lift have a much smaller turning circle and move a lot faster. The road roller is king of the roost overall (and has to be fought twice in a row before the final boss), as merely touching the drum at the front, even from the side, will make you take damage. Thrilling stuff. It's a very dumb but entertaining game. The story is appropriately crazy and takes some ludicrous/anime twists and turns. There's drama, romance, a crane driving dog sensei, a twist, another twist involving the romance and a gay couple responsible for the best cutscene in the game. The last minute of this video:VIDEO
