Not really playing anything because of finals.  If I have a few hours here and there I will finish AC2, LBP PSP and maybe NSMB Wii so that I won't be in the middle of anything when FFXIII comes out.

I wanna play Machinarium, but finals are getting in the way. I tried the demo after seeing how much Bebpo liked it. It's a cool game.

Yay!  :)

Finally got around to playing CoD:WaW, which I've owned for nearly a year. Just finished the final mission on Veteran and I gotta say I'm shocked that the same developer who made the abysmal CoD3 made this. So yeah, pretty good game overall. Got the credits rolling in the background right now and the music is just :rock

Now to finish up the rest of the achievements and never play it again.

Couldn't get into Demon Souls when I played it, so it went on the backburner for the time being. Just didn't grab me like I thought it would, but I'll have to give it another go down the road.

Got given a copy of Batman 360 today!  :hyper

Just sucks that I won't have any time to play it for the next while.  :'(

Decided to finally finish the last two levels in Gears of War 1 before moving on to #2. The game is so much better than Uncharted 2 that I feel sorry for people who only own a PS3.

Also working on getting a full 1000 on The Force Unleashed. The environmental destruction is still so fun. It's a shame Uncharted 2 didn't do the same.

I also want to get back to Dead Space. It's also better than Uncharted 2.

Also playing 1v100 almost every night.

Almost done with AC2.  Trying not to rush it just because I don't have much time to play.  When I do have an open night I turn off all clocks/monitors/etc... and turn the lights off and play for a while and enjoy the experience.  Probably will finish it in another 2 sessions.

Just got the Atlier armor set.  Looks gorgeous.  Love the cape design.

Didn't play anything for most of this week, and went back to the usual online fighters yesterday, plus back to Modern Warfare 2.  I also decided to try playing through Dino Crisis (ripped on PSP), since I never really played the game previously.  I just couldn't get it into back then, and am giving it another chance.  Loved the sequel though.  Too bad everything went down the shitter with the third game.   :-\  Also interested in maybe playing through RE2 and RE3 again since it's been years and years, but RE3 is supposed to have some issues on PSP.  Might just play them on Game Cube instead.

Game of Shame/Terminator Salvation -- Already halfway through it on Hard difficulty. You get a Gold trophy for beating every level, and you get the Platinum trophy if you beat the game on Hard. What a horrible game. Total crap Terminators of War clone. The good part of Grin must have been working on Bionic Commando. Good thing it was only $2 and I'll make $10 profit next week.

Bayonetta -- Pretty tough at times, but incredibly awesome.

Playing through NSMB with 3 friends, and it's really good. Maybe a bit too chaotic at times, but that makes it more fun I suppose.

Metal Slug XX is the PSP version of Metal Slug 7.  It's supposed to be remixed like MSX was from MS2, but I never played MS7 on DS because it was so scrunched and disgusting-looking.  It has 2P ad-hoc play and something like 70 minigames, too.  Seems like a nice little game; the ISO that's out is 100% English and uncensored, too.  I don't know if I'm going to buy it, however, since the game is also heading to XBLA next year.

If anything, it's just nice having this game with the proper visuals.

I've been afraid to start playing U2 because I feel I'll get addicted and won't be able to put it down, which would negatively impact my studying for finals.  Been playing games I can play in small bursts instead.  I've got Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri finals and haven't done any of my outlines yet.   :P

Then again I get that addiction when playing a really good game.  Some people have better video game self-control!

It's not a very long game, though. You can blast through it in 8 hours, probably less on lower difficulty settings.

Just finished up Lost Planet on Extreme mode for that sweet 150G achievement. I gotta say it was a lot more fun on extreme because it really forces you to learn all the enemy patterns and deal with them properly. Sucks that you pretty much need a mech in order to beat most of the bosses though. And the game still looks great too.

Played through the first level and there was no slowdown.  Really short load times too, but that's probably because it's off the memory stick.

Jeezus, teh grafphix is insane  :o

Could've done without the stealth part at the beginning, but I like where it's headed.  The shootouts are more fun too. So far, I haven't felt like I'm trapped in generic shootout arena after generic shootout arena, like in the first game (which I got bored of a couple hours in.)

Fun game so far.   Just an ordinary dude escaping ordinary trains hanging off of ordinary cliffs and shooting ordinary guys with my ordinary regenerating dude shield  8)

I don't really get hooked these days.  It's "reading period" now, so I study from ~11-ish until about 7 or 8 with some breaks for food/air, then game afterwards since I'm not in the mood to go out after.  Though from here on out, I'm going to need to get an earlier start...

We didn't have a reading period this year because of the recession.  They started school 1 week later to save money on paying the staff and cut out reading period instead.  If I was a 1st year with finals in both weeks I'd be pissed!  But all my finals are in the 2nd week, so I just used this week as reading period instead.  But then I spent it on my paper and doing nothing!  So now I have to cram for my finals lol.

I'm glad I am happy with being 50% place in my class.  I feel good because I'm doing better than half the people, but I don't feel too pressured to get 3.5-4.0s because I'm not gonna get up to the top10-15% anyhow at this point.

Played Brütal Legend multiplayer for the first time today. I was having a decent match when the game started cutting out, and was finally dropped back to the main menu. Search for new opponents, get the same guy -- he chooses a different army and begins a serious pillaging of my assets; just as it cuts to his victory screen, the game says he disconnects. The guy thinks I quit; I never quit. I hate quitters, and I tell him if we get each other in Ranked again and I'll sit there while he wins -- not that he needs me to. The guy's a better player. He says "no biggie" and I find another opponent.

This time it seriously looks like an even match! Then: "This match has very bad connectivity: you will be returned to the menu."

Being a dirty poor, I haven't played Demon Souls yet  :'(

But from what I've seen of DS and what I'm playing now, the King's Field games are definitely very clunky and dated. Finding secret weapons, magic and treasure still has its enjoyment value though.

FFXII

Cleared out the Raithwall's Tomb (the dungeon Kosma mentioned, with the moving Demon Wall). I couldn't beat the first Demon Wall, tried 4 times with the best equipment available at this point in the game but it always killed me because you have to beat it really fucking quick (2 minutes). As I went to sleep yesterday I thought of a new way to challenge it: have everybody use Bacchus Wine at the beggining of the fight! That did the trick! I set Self --> Bacchus Wine gambit and everyone went berserk. I killed it in about 40 seconds and got the Demonbane sword :rock

After getting my first Esper, Gigas, and killing Vossler I can now go to Ozmose Plains.

My in-game clock shows 42 hours :o :o :o This game is FUCKING MASSIVE. It's bigger than Dragon Warrior 7 for Christ's sake... Oh yeah I also overheard some Rabanastrian talking about deepr levels of some cave... hmm... there is only one cave I know of: Zertinan Caverns! I just checked it and lo & behold I can go deeper now. And I went and faced Adrammelech. Of course he wiped the floor with my party :lol

This is the best FF game ever created, bar none. The graphics are AMAZING for the PS2. Each area/ dungeon/ city is so wonderfully crafted that it makes my jaw drop. Unbelievable textures, architecture, monster design (!!!) and music. Raithwall's Tomb was almost as good as best dungeons from Baldur's Gate 2.

I had this game for almost 2 years and started playing only now.

:piss me :piss2

FF12 makes FFX look & feel like a PSX title.

I can only hope FF13 is the same --> no random encounters, absolutely huge-ass world, gigantic, full of life cities, impeccable graphics and monster design.

Yeah, FFXII is amazing but the story sucks later on.  Matsuno really did a great job laying the foundations of an incredible rpg though.  The world is huge and alive.  So many details.

The way they did shadows in this game is really impressive.  They're so much smoother than say Dead Space or Assassin's Creed.

Played some Saboteur, it's not terrible, but not great either. I liked Red Faction Guerilla and this seems about on that level

Uncharted 2 is sooooooo much better than the first one so far.  Just passed the falling building part in Nepal...

I'ma make a drinking game out of it though...every innuendo/cheesy joke someone makes, drink!

Awesome game. Best platformer of the gen. I'm playing a no gun playthrough, and I can't imagine why anyone would want to use them, regardless of achievements. It's so bad ass giving commandos a beatdown and tossing their guns aside.
Good job on playing the game the right way on your first playthrough. :bow GOTG :bow2

Have you played Manhattan Project before? Everyone seems to love Turtles in Time the most out of the TMNT beat em up games, but Manhattan Project is still my favorite.
