I joined Steam to get P0®Tª£, but someone had taken chronovore there, so I'm chronovoreprime.

How do I join the EB group?

So, I finally got around to looking at my games library on Steam and thought about downloading the rest of them.  The funny thing I noticed about them?  I never paid for or actually owned half of those games!  Apparently Steam assumes that since I owned Counter Strike and Day of Defeat, I must have owned the rest of the Half Life games.

Free stuff, FTW.

What is with the Steam store recently skipping better sales in favor of marking down Torchlight for the umpteenth time? It's like a meme now. Every time I go to check the specials it's like "Oh look, Torchlight's 50% off again, whoopdy-doo!"

$90 is a lot of money!  These packs are supposed to be like $40 or less to make them appealing.  Plus this pack is all over the place in quality.

...and I own about half of those already anyhow ^^;

Wow. Ilkeston pretty much stopped my hometown, Guiseley, from being promoted last season. Ilkeston went up after beating Guiseley in the play offs, I think. This season, Guiseley actually made it. So they'll be playing Ilkeston again next season :) Did you pick Ilkeston yourself or were they chosen for you?

There's a section on the FM forums for Lower League Managers, and they have a random team page called "Frank" who picks a team for you. Frank picked Ilkeston for me.

How about this Sega pack for Japan...

Meh at today's sales. I already have Rome and Empire, so I don't want to shell out $20 just for Medieval II, and 33% isn't enough for me to bite on Napoleon.

Fear 1 & the 1st expansion are worth getting on the PC.  It's not just the superior graphics and framerate.  Precise KB + M controls allow you to play the game without using slow-mo at all, which is a really exhilarating experience.

There's plenty of advice and help through the game if you're not sure about stuff. Plus you can get a lot of your backroom staff (assistant managers/coaches/scouts) to do things for you.

Try out the demo.

After a successful run on Xbox Live Arcade, Wizards of the Coast is bringing Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers to keyboard and mouse set via Steam next month.

Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers for Xbox Live was an addictive little digital version of the long-running collectible card game, that I managed to escape only by virtue of having other things to do with my television, so when the game launches on Steam next month? I'm pretty much doomed.

Pre-load for the game starts on June 1, with the full game going live shortly after that, I'd assume. The Steam version will be fully integrated with Steamworks, repeating the benefits of auto-updating, Steam Achievements, Leaderboards, downloadable content, and multiplayer matchmaking.

As an added plus to PC players, the game will ship with the first expansion pack included, all for the low, low price of $9.99.
