Cerrato, himself, made all the bad decisions to draft the team's tandem of failed draft picks at wide receiver, his ridiculous draft pick of a punter in the sixth round last season (cut after a few weeks), etc.
There was no Snyder intervention. Snyder has made his opinion known that he wanted more explosive players, but it was Cerrato's poor talent scouting and lack of GM experience that has led to failures in roster management.
Snyder is at fault for letting a friend run the organization, and not firing him already, but this conspiracy that Ceratto is somehow making the calls for Snyder is a pretty lame one.
People will vilify him for anything, because he went on a spending spree in his youth - which backfired.
As an owner, I will take Daniel Snyder over the majority of the other NFL owners, because he will spend money when he has to. The question is, when will he put it together that he needs a qualified GM.
