Bill Simmons writes a big column whining about Belichick going for it. I don't think I've ever read a worse misuse of statistics.

His second argument is basically this: "Because the Colts had already scored on long drives twice in that quarter, it was much less likely that they would do it again, because nobody does that kind of thing three times." I kid you not.
