i never had a prob with her, she goes into a bubble when theres enemies around

The enemies can pop the bubble and it's game over, though. It has a life bar of it's own.

Only because they don't allow you to keep mashing the dodge button. I can deal with that.

edit: in fact i remember exactly what i bought this morning, which was between the chapters where it happened, i bought one of those talisman of rebirth shot things that raise you from the dead automatically because i did really well in the mini game and it was the most expensive thing there

There's no real problem with "escorting" her.

Most of the time Cereza follows you, she's pretty much invincible.  There's one part I remember where you need to protect her, but she has a shield around her that takes a while for the enemies to penetrate.  And I think it's here that you can get an achievement if you don't allow the enemies to ever get to her.  It's not hard.

The only good equippable weapon are the staffs the angels drop, so you can do the stripper pole move. Huge AOE damage. Everything else feels clunky and slow.

Grace and Glory arent really a big deal. Just stand back and pellet them with the gun and they'll come to you either by jumping or uppercut. I got a PP from them in Ch 5. On the plus, apparently the Durgas are one of the most powerful weapons in the game.

Frosts from DMC4 are more scary

The hold-kick attack with the Durgas is ridiculously overpowered. Demolishes everything easily. But other than the hold attacks and a few minor differences, the feet weapons just feel like pallet swaps so far.

Beat it late last night, loved it to bits. I actually liked the overall story at the end and those cut scenes weren't that long at all, to be honest I never felt any of the cut scenes to be rather long. Everyone should read the journals, they spread light many things not explained during the game.

My hated enemies:

The boats - usually off in BFE launching rockets and lasers at you, requiring you to jump over and beat it up in close range, meaning if you fall you lose health i mean wtf

The stingrays - Comes in groups, launches orbs at you, tough to hit because aerial combat isnt bayonettas strong suit, dodging in mid air usually results in the shitty Crow form which i really wish i didnt buy
