Played 3 free for all matches earlier with my AK47. It was getting too easy and I had already passed 750 kills with the AK, so I decided to finally prestige. Then I won like 5 matches straight using the default UMP class, the MP5K, and the FAMAS. I finally lost when I unlocked the SCAR and decided to use it. We don't get along too well.

I switched my button layout from Default to Tactical so there won't be this constant brain freeze when I start switching between this and BC 2 but man is it difficult to make the adjustment. You wouldn't think two buttons swapped around would make that big a difference but it really does. Its gonna take me awhile to get use to this.

Yeah. I switched because like I said BC 2 places the crouch on the right analog press (And the melee on the LB button). I need to find some sort of compromise since I plan to play both and I know I would constantly be fucking up as I switched between them. The only real solution for me (outside of buying some programmable controller I guess) was to switch to tactical and adjust to crouch on the right analog. I need to make whatever adjustment I can to make the transition between the two smooth.

It sounds minor but after you've played a series for hundreds of hours its like muscle memory and hardwired into your brain so its hard to get use to. I'm starting to adjust though. The knifing is better because its a responsive actual button click so you know what you are getting everytime. But the crouch toggling part is less responsive now in comparison which sort of hurts me since I'm a croucher and slightly camperish. Even now when in close quarter situations there is a temptation for me to press in the right stick but eventually I'm sure I will get over it.

yea I remember setting that in COD4 and never looking back. I did it when I got MW2 as well. I cant play with my melee on the stick sadly. It annoys the hell out of me.

You made the right call. It's the superior setup. It just takes awhile to re-train my brain. I've mostly gotten use to it now.

Somebody mentioned it earlier but MP5 with rapid fire is pretty awesome.

Also I've found a pretty effective strategy of using my AR and having a shotty as my secondary and switching back and forth depending on where I am on the map. I use to never really switch away from my primary unless it was to shoot a rocket at a helicopter or something but I switched most of those classes over to the secondary shotgun and that works great. Perfect to take out runners when they get on top of me.

Is it just me or is Demolition where the nasty motherfuckers hide?

I have just started spending some serious time with MW2 again after shelving it to play ME2. I'm finally starting to do OK in TDM. My worst games are 1:1 K/D, and my good games I can go 2:1. But when I try to get into some Demolition, Jesus Christ, it's like I have weights on my thumbs, or an eye patch on. Dues simple pick me apart. I'll go 5:15 like it's nothing. Horrifying.

Never tried Demolition although I'm sure I'll get around to it. Seems like a more hectic take on Search and Destroy and the more hectic the mode, the worse I generally do.

I'm really warming up to HQ pro. I like having an objective. With ground war mostly TD it seems I'm having much more fun on HQ. Team Deathmatch is getting old.

Getting back into the groove of things now, k/d up to 1.35. Unlocked the AC-130 instead of the chopper gunner, and ditched the stupid distractive predator missile. Now if people would only stay in the open when my AC-130 appears.

I much prefer the chopper gunner in comparison to the AC-130. It's always a lot more effective whenever I get it.

Also just as a general notice there was an update on the 360 today that was supposed to permanently get rid of the care package/emergency air drop exploit.

Well to be fair I almost never earn those with the normal kill streaks. Every chopper gunner or AC-130 I've ever gotten has come from an emergency airdrop I've earned (the legit way

) or because I stole one of them from somebody on the other team via an emergency air drop. (which is awesome btw. You know they have to be pissed about that)

There was a rumour video leak of the map packs a week or two back. Who knows if it is real or not but it claims overgrown and crash are returning from COD 4 which would be awesome. Those were two of my favorites.

I'll buy it but then that's because I'm a sucker. I also bought things like the Ceberus Network which turned out to be a waste for me and I remember buying one of the Halo 3 map packs which was $10 for 3 maps which is the same price per map pack as this one is.

That being said I think its over-priced especially with 2 of the maps being remakes despite how much I love those two maps. As I said before I'll drink piss occasionally but I won't pretend its soda.
