:bow Breaking Bad :bow2

Hate talking in hyperbole, but is there much way BB isn't the best show EVAR that isn't The Wire. It just never fails. It might be the zealousness of the newly converted (I'd avoided it until this season), but goddamn, I'm totally proselytizing now.

Yes that was awesome! is the next episode the finale?
Please, please keep spoilers tagged. I'm up to Ep. 12 in Season 2 now, and loving even the monster-of-the-week episodes. Except maybe the Chinese immigrant ep, which had plot holes the size of Roxy Jezel's workman's entrance after a 6-hour shoot.

the quality on that site is rather bad and so is the 350mb torrent, imo. it's a pretty beautifully shot series, so i'd recommend downloading the 720p version. it's little over a gig per episode, but it does the show justice; it looks fucking incredible.

btw, has anyone else boarded the 720p train yet? i can't go back to dvd rips anymore. even the best dvd rips look washed out. not the brrips, though. dey fine. 8)

Its definitely alright (never a moment where I thought the quality blew). You may run into issues with the DIVX stream app since the newest version has been acting up with their streaming (you'll have to download an earlier release). I blasted through both Season 1 and 2 on Ninjavideo. The only thing that can be a pain are broken links, in which case I would just download the episode.

Cool. I checked it out/downloaded divx and quickly got the first episode working. I'll watch it tonight or tomorrow night. Lost is for tonight tho :bow

The S3 S1 ep I downloaded is in 720 I think, the quality is very good. With a megauload download, which is what I prefer. I'd rather not have to download multiple parts of one episode just to watch it, or have to pay for a premium RS account to get to download full episodes

No doubt. I've actually been watching S3 on TV and love the cinematography. Its a series I would definitely consider buying on DVD or BD.

Watched the pilot episode and wow, fuck awesome. I expected something utterly ridiculous after reading the plot, but it pulled it off pretty damn well. I was gonna start Rome tonight but I might as well watch another episode.

Watch this vid and tell me it isn't cute. Watching these girls get a makeover is my highlight of the week.

Me: "She'd look so much better if she had a belt to tighten that loose skirt." and five seconds later
Show: "You need to accessorize, girl!" and they bring out a belt! :rofl

And seeing everyone's reaction after the trademark line,"We're transsexual women...and we used to be men, but we can show you how to girl it up blah blah blah" is always a blast. The reaction is typically,"What the fuck." :lol

If anyone saw Fringe this week, here are the details on the Alternate-US map shown in the background:
spoiler (click to show/hide)
♦California has clearly suffered a major catastrophe; half of it is gone, presumably underwater.

♦The state of Washington is called "Southern British Columbia." (A wink to the crew of Fringe, which is shot in Canada's British Columbia?)

♦Nevada is called "Independent Nevada."

♦Texas is divided into two states: North Texas and South Texas.

♦Oklahoma and Kansas are combined into a large state called "Midland."

♦North and South Carolina are combined into a single state called simply "Carolina."

♦Louisiana is called "Louisiana Territory."

♦The area around Washington, D.C., is called "District of Virginia" instead.

♦The upper peninsula of Michigan doesn't exist.

Just finished the fourth episode of Breaking Bad S1. Definitely the best and most emotional episode yet. The show kinda starts fast, and this episode finally featured the type of emotional fireworks such a crazy situation would warrant. Kinda teared up when Hank told Walt that he'd take care of his family if anything happened. They're on a collision course of epic proportions.

Then you had some insight into Jesse. Really hit home for me. I know so many people with religious parents who pushed their kids to excel even as they slipped right through the cracks, totally oblivious to it. Another tear up moment: Jesse taking the fall for his brother, but destroying the blunt. Great moment.

I just finished S2 Ep. 16 last night, and am really enjoying the series. The monster-of-the-week stuff is OK, but the story arc stuff is leagues ahead of X-Files' meta-story, because it at least feels like they're not making it up as they go along. Ep. 16 is the one with the '80s style intro peeps posted a ways back, which is funny because the rest of the episode couldn't possibly be more serious.

I'm way behind on Fringe. The monster of the week stuff got a bit much when you watch too many of them back to back, and some of the shows quirks and tics kind of wore thin (how many different genius things did Walter work on back in the day that have now been used for evil). Plus, I know the show is about Fringe science, but some of the pseudo-science can be a bit laughable at times when he explains it to the team (and lowest common denominator at home).

Still a great show, and glad to hear they're going deeper into the mythology.

I don't watch Fringe, but that's really interesting.
:bow Fringe needs more fans here. I think most of the big picture stuff was pretty unrefined in S1, but they've done a great job since then.

I think in both of those clips he's walking away from her, not using the bomb as some kind of hail mary throw to get back in her pants.
Yeah that's kinda what I meant, guess I just phrased it poorly. He's so butthurt over ruining his chances at poking her that he wants to erase it.

Either way, it's all very lame. The lovey dovey crap has never worked on this show

Sawyer: I could have stopped my dad from killing himself but I didn't. What's done is done
Jack: Cool story bro, but I can get another chance with Kate
 :lol

also, first episode of Breaking Bad S2. What an ending. Although it kinda felt like that should have been the last episode of S1. Then again maybe I'm simply used to shows ending with cliff hangers
