Just rewatched the first ep of Spartacus. I remember thinking it was horrible on my first viewing, but it wasn't bad. Everything before Spartacus gets captured feels dumb, but once he gets to Rome things get much better.

Started watching Eastbound and Down and man April is so fucking hot. She's got the face of a hot chubby girl and the body of a fit hottie. The mixture gives me the weirdest boner.

Yes she is amazing.  Also, the first couple minutes of episode 6 is going to be the happiest moment of your life.

Too bad

Holy crap sorry dude  :(

Watched it last night.  You didn't really ruin much in the scheme of things.  Great episode though.

Always nice to see Ken Marino pop up.

I've also started watching The Man From UNCLE.  First episode was pretty good.  I enjoy that it plays it totally straight.  Also it featured Blacula.  My GF accused me of racism when I said "I think that's Blacula"  Thankfully IMDB was able to back me up.

I've got one more episode in season 3 of SOA.  They really had no idea how to fill this season.  It doesn't even feel like the last episode of the season.  There is no tension.  What awful pacing.  Oh well.  I hope Season 4 is thought out better.

I'm starting Terriers next.  Like everyone else, I thought it was a show about dogs so I didn't care.

But it was so cheezy! lol

Quote
LONDON: A British television channel said Friday it has commissioned an hour-long satire based on the phone-hacking scandal engulfing tabloid newspapers, politicians and the police.

“Hacks”, the show’s working title, is set at a fictional paper where staff get stories by any means necessary, including hacking into voicemails, blagging (obtaining personal data without consent) and pinging (locating people using their mobile phones).

Shane Allen, Channel 4′s head of comedy, who commissioned the show, said they wanted to be “quick off the mark to shine a satirical light on what’s been happening in the media over the last few months”.

The hacking scandal at media baron Rupert Murdoch’s News of the World tabloid has forced the closure of the Sunday paper and triggered a series of inquiries, resignations and arrests.

“Hacks” is being penned by Guy Jenkin, who co-wrote Channel 4′s 1990-1998 situation comedy “Drop the Dead Donkey”, which was set at a fictional television news company. “We hope to be faster and funnier than all the inquiries so far,” Jenkin said.
Watched this, it was really good and funny

Finished the first season of Eastbound and Down and I died at his speech to the school...

IIRC they pack like half a season's worth of story into the last episode back in Charming and the whole Irish thing was alot to do about nothing. S4 is better paced at least.

as long as they give me a decent cliffhanger in the finale of season 3 them I'll be happy but yeah, the whole Irish thing was a complete waste of time.  Although it did have the first bit of real character development with Jax and then he does another 180 about 5 minutes later which was fucking ridiculous.

I finished watching all of the episodes for Breaking Bad on Netflix and god damn, what a great show.  It seems like Season 4 gets even crazier.  I always associated Cranston with Dr. Whatley on Seinfeld and I like his range of talent.  According to the wiki, I guess he wanted to be in the show to prove that he had that range.  Great shit go watch it :rock  It's a perfect mix of drama and dark comedy.

I've also been catassing Archer.  A local radio morning show has been pimping that shit since it started showing and wow.  I liked stuff like Sealab quite a bit and this reminds me of Sealab but with a larger than shoestring budget.  It reminds me of Adult Swim before it devolved to crap like Tim & Eric and NTSF:SD:SUV.

Keep watching.  This is one of the few shows that gets better with each passing season.  Amazing.  There's so much more badass shit

I finished SOA season 3.  The last episode totally redeemed shit with the exception of the highly anticipated and obvious "gotcha" moment at the end where Jax and Clay and everyone starts laughing.  But damn everything else was awesome.  Unser was a badass as always.

I was a bit miffed at the way they handled the big breakthrough on the case.

spoiler (click to show/hide)
Sherlock uses a cognitive trick to think really hard and explains the significance of clues that were introduced half an hour ago, not by using anything that's happened since then, but by making a connection to something which hasn't been introduced yet.  Bah humbug!

Still, fun show and I can't get too mad at it.  Liked the interactions with the locals.

Brody doesn't detonate the bomb. I mean I understand why they can't do that, but that's because of American television needing to stretch things out as long as possible. Wish it was just a miniseries. Not looking forward to Carrie slowly remembering to suspect Brody again.

use icefilms.info. Follow the download directions (you just need the Greasemonkey script and an older version of divx, linked on the site). You can watch just about anything on it without having to download things, and it's safe.

Yea; technically he could be killed as president, but it would have to be off camera (no way a bullet to the neck would be ok lol). But S4 is the one where Charles Logan becomes president after the sitting president is killed on Air Force One. The original plan was for him to be shot on the plane iirc, but Fox made them change it to Air Force One crashing after being shot down (lol). IIRC they don't even show his body in the debris.

In S6 the Other Palmer gets blown into a coma

So technically Brody could have exploded and it would be some wide shot of the building going up in smoke. But I still think Showtime would shy away from that
