Reading through those Goldsworthy and Holland books, it's struck me multiple times how there
needs to be a Caesar miniseries. Those last ~100 years of the Republic are tailor-made for a dramatization: years of buildup with Marius/Cinna vs Sulla, culminating with Sulla's confrontation with the 16 year old flamen dialis (Sulla: "divorce Cornelia"
