Try playing the AI a few times. Don't invest in farms too heavily (or early), because those pieces never come back. try to finish castles quickly, or good players will co-opt them.

Yeah, Tiny Tower was on the top grossing charts for a good while and that's a freemium game. Also I'm sure Tetris isn't number 1 because fuckloads of people are buying it. I bet people are actually paying for that T-Club thing.

The story of how that port came about is pretty cool too. Apparently it's by some crazed Sonic fan who wrote a new interpreter for the Sonic games, and pitched it to Sega. Oh god, if the Streets of Rage Remake from those insane Brazilian guys got the same treatment...

There is that onlive blue tooth controller coming for the ipad. I would love it if that thing became the defacto standard for devs who want to implement gamepad controls.

Got Sonic CD on XBLA, but I saw it running on a co-worker's Android phone and it looked awesome, so will also buy on iOS. Dunno about GTA3 but it's only five bucks so why not?

I hated the controls on PS2, cant imagine how terrible they are on iphone. I'm sure they work well but it's not for me sadly.

Game Dev Story is seriously one of the most addictive games I've played.

I took my PS1 exclusive fantasy card game series and made the sequel on the DS. Went from 33/40 ~5 mil sales to 37/40 and ~16 mil sales. DS
