I like Zen but I like Zen in the manner of nothing about this game actually reminds of actually playing pinball. It's a fantasy game with 3-D characters walking around on the table and very fast and arcadey physics. The ball might as well be a marble in Zen.

Which is not to say I don't like Zen. I just like it in a completely different way although I prefer Pinball Arcade.

Been on an iPad kick for some reason lately.....kinda weird how I won't even bother with the app store for awhile and then something just comes over me and I start buying them in droves.

It's not much of a game but if you've got a partner Fingle can be pretty hilarious. It's basically Twister for your hands. My wife and I were playing it in bed last night and we were cracking up trying to do some of the stuff the game wants. More simulated hand sex games plz.

....and yeah. Pinball Arcade is pretty awesome. Between that and Zen, I think I'm set.

How did I avoid Kingdom Rush for this long?!? I'm usually not a fan of TD games but there's something about this one that's got me hooked.

Yeah its pretty good. Too difficult for me but lots of people like it that way.

I'm addicted to Pinball Arcade.

Can't wait for more tables.

Up to like Chapter 9 in Ghost Trick.

Yeah, I don't think this would work too well on the phone. Everything is pretty tiny as is plus the game makes you tap on multiple towers at a time when they freeze up from ice or spells. I've accidentally spent money on upgrades I didn't want because of that tapping.....gotta imagine it'd be even worse on the small screen.

Awesome game though.

plus guard towers let you reposition guards- which gets to be pretty critical when load balancing choke points

Beat Sneak Bandits just came out. It's a puzzle game disguised as a rhythm game. I'm really enjoying it. From the guys who made Kosmo Spin and Bumpy Road, which I though were more style than substance. This is by far their best game.

Really late to the party here but I got Dungeon Defender when it was on sale for .99 and I've been fucking around with it on the iPad 2....really don't want to play this on my phone.

Just as I suspected, this game needs a controller to be halfway enjoyable. Glad it was only .99

Which stage? I find there's an incredible amount of trial an error involved up to where I am now. Seems more important to use reinforcements to break up waves than have good tower placement.

I've tried to beat 13 (or is it 12? It's the last one anyway) numerous times and failed. Fuck that dude's second form. The most I've been able to do is shave about 3/4 of his health off before he makes it through and ends it.

So I've been going back and doing the challenges to get more upgrade points but that can get pretty hard.....really hard infact. May have to find a FAQ or something to see how to go about doing some of those.

I just think it's poor design to be able to breeze through 19 waves then come with a super boss that is an auto fail. Seems cheap.
