Teixeira will be up 3rd in this inning. Dude's batting .100 so far in the series.
I'm usually one who believes things will even out. The law of averages, etc. He's due.
It's sort of like how they said no one had lost game one of the series and come back to win since 2002. 11 out of 12 first game winners had gone on to win the whole thing, etc. Well, that means to me "eventually someone will get it done, it can't go on like this forever." Naturally the Yankees lost game 1 and came back to win the next 3. What now? Of course, that introduces another law-of-averages possibility. Something like 90% of teams that were up 3-1 went on to win the series. Yankees are 8 for 8 in such scenarios. So is it time for that stat to even itself out a bit?
Anyway, now I'm rambling, and Tex is up.
