There is a 2005 Ford Escape with 80,000 miles for six grand that I am interested in, but I don't know much about cars (I wouldn't even own a car if I didn't need one $:-\$ ) so I was hoping to get some input from anyone knowledgeable. I got to see the car firsthand today and drove it. It was in great shape, but the engine was considerably louder than our Honda Accord. I've never rode in an Escape before, so I have no basis of comparison.

That's not a bad price for an Escape. Do you just need something bigger or did your Honda finally die?

I can't fall asleep even though I only slept for about five minutes last night (I finally fell asleep in the morning only to be awoken by alarm clock minutes later, which I forgot to turn off). FML. I spent the last hour and a half dwelling about law school and my future law career. At a certain point I always try to change the subject to something mundane, like sports. It never works.

Talk about a great last few days-warm front came through so I am kickin' the Hawaiian short-sleeve shirt today since it's in the 60s outside, my boss gave me an outstanding performance review for work which means a big bonus again this year, and my favorite pro starcraft player won the starleague over the weekend. For the first time in recent memory I might even have a regular 40-hour workweek this week to boot instead of the hell marches I've been in since December.
