There are three issues.

1) It's rare for a Korean woman to still be single at her age. So the chances of her looking for something casual are lower than they would already be by virtue of being Korean.

2) I'm not sure that my social life includes activities that would actually interest her. I go out drinking with a bunch of foreigners between 22-35 (mostly on the younger end of that scale) and some Koreans who are all mostly under 25. My other activities include a martial arts club, a writers club, a dancing class (which might be a decent possibility, actually) and various sober daytime shenanigans.

3) The whole pen in company ink thing.

I might actually sack up and invite her downtown one of these weekends when something cool is going on.

Things will never get anywhere at school. It's a good place to get to know her better, but there are too many watching eyes for any kind of real flirting.

I'm thinking I'll just ask her to come along with me to some kind of social event that involves drinking, but it would have to be one that I think would appeal to her. I don't think she'd be a fan of my usual Friday night dive bars at this point.

Btw, I was walking up my stairs just now, and a pretty cool guitar riff came to me, and I actually managed to figure it out once I sat down with a guitar (I've lost some great riffs while in the process of trying to figure them out on guitar; I wish I had a better ear), but I'm not sure if it's been done before. It probably has.

A dude in my psychology class said one of the hotter chicks in class asked him to write her 8 page paper. She barely comes to class, and when she does, she's constantly texting or flirting. This dude is really nice, he's pretty chubby but he's one of those cool dudes that everyone likes. Went out for a movie tonight, I seriously cannot read this chick. She was colder than ice, but wanted to get a bite to eat and drink coffee afterwards - we ended up staying until after the place closed (she paid btw). So she must have had fun, but it's like, there's no way to tell if she's romantically interested.

That said, I'd be happy if she wasn't. I kind of want to get friend zoned on this one; she's not really relationship material - but I can totally dig hanging out with her on a purely friend basis.
