Anyway, drinking a dericious chai from Starbucks (which inexplicably closes at 7:30 in NISHI-SHINJUKU MOTHERFUCKING TOKYO, SALARYMEN FUCKING EVERYWHERE WORKING TIL LIKE 5 AM) and about to study some Japanese. I'm in a Christmasy kinda mood, so I'm about to bump some Vince Guaraldi Trio's Charlie Brown Christmas as well as Intimacy and A Weekend in the City by Bloc Party, all of which are my official December / Christmas season albums. After studying I'm playing Bioshock, which I bought when it came out but never finished. Starting over and killing everything. I tried to play Blue Dragon, but it's incredibly slow. Maybe I'll play it when there's nothing else to play (never). Thankfully it was only 9.99.

I don't really produce, but instead of this, you are better off getting a copy of Ableton Live and reading internet tutorials on it... this kit is more for DJing/mixing, instead of actually producing songs. If you want to learn how to beatmatch I could give you some pointers, since that's what I do. Psst, go to http://www.duky.org/mixes.html and d/l some of my mixes

First off, you should get yourself a demo copy of Virtual DJ, before getting the mixer. You can use the mouse to manipulate it, but it's no where near as accurate and responsive as the Hercules mixer. Later on, upgrade (or look for a crack) for the pro edition of Virtual DJ, which has recording to mp3 capabilities and much more options.

Oh and the Essential Mix was done in '06, I have significantly changed the type of music I play and have gotten much better since then

But make sure to make the phrase the question differently to hopefully elicit a clearer response
