Don't forget to set aside $15 for your VIP code :lol
Gamefly's should come with the VIP code. They keep the cases in the warehouse and from my experience they always come with any sort of code.

It'll be less than that on steam soon with the holiday sales since full price is $20.

I'm considering getting it when it's $10 on steam.  I haven't played a BRO BRO military FPS since MW2 and wouldn't mind playing a nice looking scripted one for $10.

So besides CoD series, all the other military FPS have bad SP campaigns?  :\

How was MoH SP?

MoH is rental. you can beat it in 1 sitting, even on hard difficulty. the campaign was okay but not better than a CoD game.

Really well on my PC. Just don't crank the draw distance up too high. If you get it and can't get it to run right lemme know and I'll screen cap my settings. I get >60fps constantly and it looks gorgeous.

New Vegas for $35.  It is a Steamworks game so you have to install malware to run it.  Otherwise, it is a good deal.

Ew, dude, no. It's definitely the most content-rich and that definitely counts for something, but best? It's not even the best of the PS2 GTAs.

Saw on the Xbox Live that Fable 3 and Halo Reach will be 39.99 on Black Friday at select* retailers. Might pick up Reach. Then again, don't know if I want to fight the crowds.

Yeah, I'll probably just wait until some other firesale post holiday.

If they use the same gap between the console and PC version of GTAIV, you'll be playing RDR on the PC sometime in January.

Free DJ Tiesto pack for DJ Hero 2, though a site registration is required. However, it's a no-check registration, so I suspect you could put all manner of fanciful information into their database and still get your lovely code:

It's probably a good thing that I don't get paid again until next week, it's helped curb my impulse purchase of games I'll never play quite a bit.  So far I've only bought a couple of $.99 iPad games, and two $5 Steam games (one was the Indie Story Pack)

Well, replaced my dead US X360 with that 4gb slim for $200+60 credit.  Then picked up Halo Reach ($30), Enslaved ($25), Read Dead Redemption ($30) to go with it.

Guess I'm back on the X360 train.  Just need to figure out what to do about the hard drive and getting my Ninja Blade save copied over from my old drive.  I'll use my 16gig stick temporarily until I figure something out.  $130 for the 250gig hard drive is ridiculous.  I don't want to pay that and then another $20 for the transfer cable.

Well some store in FL through Amazon was having a BF sale for the X360 slim 250gb drive for $99 instead of $130, so I just went with that.  My old drive was a 20gb, so might as well replace it with something a little bigger and I'm lazy so I just prefer going the official route instead of hacking things.  Overall $240 for a replacement is a little pricey, but I'm just going to use the money I was going to use for an iphone 4 and put it into this instead.

Now to get my saves off my old drive I think I'm gonna need to find someone local with an OG X360 and bring over my HDD + usb stick to transfer them over.  I realized that even if I bought the $18 transfer cable I couldn't use it since my X360 is dead :(  Not that I have a lot of saves I'd want to bring over.  Mainly just Ninja Blade, Deadly Premonition, Bayonetta, Forza 3.

With Fist, just get Hokuto Musou International next month.  I think it's going to be around $50, but that includes all the DLC, which would cost more than $20 for everything anyway.

Yeah but the thing is I don't care for the game much and wouldn't have bought any of the dlc.  It's not a game I actually really want to play.  It's a game that I'd play for a few days and sorta enjoy if I get it for $20.

Because I sort of liked the demo.  Are you telling me there aren't any games you kind of enjoy but you wouldn't pay $40+ for?  There are lots for me.  Especially when it comes to anime/gundam games.  I liked the Hokuto demo because it lets me play out story from the manga and beat the crap out of dudes with badass moves.  Otoh the graphics are fucking horrible, the controls are stiff and the gameplay is shallow and often badly designed.  So it has plus/minus factors and therefore I'd like to play it for about $20.
