Best Buy has all their PS3 controller game bundles on sale for 39.99.
I just picked up Infamous 1&2 with blue controller.

Not sure how long the deal lasts....girl at checkout said new sales start tomorrow so I guess it just goes through today.

Other PS3 controller bundles that I know of:

Twisted Metal (heard it was ass)
Killzone 1&2
Ratchet
God of War

Looks like EA is having a fairly big sale: SSX, Madden, Battlefield, Dragon Age, etc.

Also, Shank, Shank 2, and the Deathspanks are on sale.

I'm still half interested in Shank for its art, but it was pretty boring in the demo. I think you boritos confirmed that it's no great shakes.

I remember playing the demo on Xbox, it seemed ok.

You can usually trade back in the GMG free games, but the effort is not worth the 50c you usually get for them.

If you're having 30 games with a much higher metacritic ranking sitting in your steam library investing in another client is too much, even if the game is free.

prolly not. chaos rings was ok when there wasnt shit else for good phone rpgs, but wont hold up now. the difficulty is non-existent, the maps are small and featureless, and you have to play thru the game 4 times to get the full story. its not terrible, but it aint fun either.

Thanks, bullet dodged.

That's just Chaos Rings.

Chaos Rings Omega only requires 1 play. Get that so you can see how it plays since all the games play pretty much the same.

Chaos Rings 2 is better than both, but requires kinda-replays since it works on a timeline system and you can jump to any point.

Story wise it goes Omega -> 1 -> 2

My Preference is 2 > Omega > 1
