It doesn't change the content of the video, though, nor excuse the actions that take place. And as stated in the article seeing civilians carrying weapons isn't a big deal in the region, since the majority of people are armed in some fashion or another (living in a war zone and all). Like I said, for the most part the video plays, to my eyes anyway, largely unedited, and when they do happen the cuts seem to be when the action has died down, not in the middle of it -- where you can clearly see the troops firing on multiple groups of people (the group with the reporters, then the group with the van). Calling into question the legitimacy of the footage simply because WikiLeaks chose to highlight the Reuters cameramen is a really lazy argument to make.
