I don't own Civ4, so I guess I should pick that up. Still, mediocrity abounds.

I might get Max Payne 1 or that bundle.  I have my retail copy of Max Payne 2 literally about 15 feet from where I'm sitting since I replayed it not too long ago.  I have no clue where Max Payne 1 is, so that seems worth it.

CIV IV Complete is back up for $13.60, better hop on it before they change it again:

http://store.steampowered.com/sub/1618/

 Civ IV
 Civilization IV®: Warlords
 Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword
 Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Colonization

That's $80 worth of games for $13

Bleh, I already bought the original pack for $6.79 (due to the higher price). If I buy the complete pack can I gift Civ IV?

EDIT: No. :|

No :(

But just Civ4 is a lot of really good content, and honestly Civ4 Warlords and Colonization are much less interesting releases than Civ4 is. The only thing that's really worth getting is Beyond the Sword, and even that isn't a big deal until you go totally gay4civ.

Yeah, I should just enjoy 500 hours of Civ4 first before I start complaining about no expansions. ;)

Bu-bu-bu-bu it's the PRINCIPLE of the thing! Steam's pricing error kept me from giving them more money for more gaming content I'll probably never get to at this rate!

Warlords for sure is a waste if you have BTS. Colonization is a merely OK game-during this sale, you might be better off chasing down something else with your cash.

Real talk, don't buy Monkey Island, emulate it with SCUMM VM. More video options, plus you can install a 1GB soundfont, opening a wormhole in time and space to make 1990-era Roland MT-32 owners cry. (Also, personal opinion time, but MI is at the bottom of the SCUMM hierarchy - I'd recommend Indy 4 (Fate of Atlantis) or Day of the Tentacle as a good entry point)

The Telltale everything pack is pretty good, 'cept I already own Sam n Max S1+S2 and Strong Bad S1. The formula can get a bit repetitive, though, especially with that many games at once.

It looks atrocious :yuck but YMMV. I would replay the old DOS MI instead.

http://store.steampowered.com/sub/2102/ <-- this is a better deal.

The only thing about that pack is the game has this filter applied to them like when you use lame filters on SNES emus.  Smooths them out but at the same time they lose their pixel charm imo.  I paid my $5 back months ago, but if I every want to replay these games I will do so off my originals in full pixel glory.

It's not a bad game by any means, and I'd probably actually recommend it to someone who likes this sort of thing. It's just not my thing-I prefer more conversational/environmental sort of things rather than inventory combine shenanigans.

It's sort of like, say, asking an xbox bro shooter player to play X3 Terran Conflict or something.

loved the part in Monkey Island 2 where you were faced with a loose valve and had no tools in your inventory.  I was Spamming items and eventually got Guybrush to use the monkey in his inventory as a wrench.  A "Monkey Wrench", if you will.
