I have purchased maybe $70 worth of PC games the past week.

Shame about DMC4. I love that game and I'd like to play the PC version with the new additions someday. But I'll wait until next years sale where it's $5.Quote from: archie4208 on January 01, 2010, 12:04:35 PMQuote from: swaggaz on January 01, 2010, 12:04:07 PMHow is Trials 2 compared to Trials HD XBLA? But if it's dozens of new tracks for $2.50 then it's a great deal. Plus aren't there hundreds of user levels?
FYI Bebpo, I got an email saying that my purchase had been declined. I just tried again and it worked fine.
Ok, Trials 2 is distinguished mentally-challenged. I got my $2.50 worth and I'm done. The controls/physics are sooooo bad compared to Trials HD. I get to an obstacle that would be easy to get past on Trials HD and it's impossible with these controls.
I haven't played any of the games in the LucasArts Pack, but I have heard a ton of praise for them. I'm just afraid that I will go to GameFAQs the moment I'm stumped because I missed a pixel or because I forgot to use bubblegum on a pipe or something equally illogical.
Indy 4 is pretty accessible, even if a few of the puzzles are inventory nightmare ("use the MAYONNAISE on the STATUE" is synonymous with inane adventure game puzzle design). I'd give it a try and not be afraid to FAQ when you get stuck. Maybe you can use INDY4.UHS
Mayonaise on statue is the fucking stupidest puzzle in the fucking world and justification for the original death of adventure games.
I haven't played Fate of Atlantis yet, but am I to be told that I will be using mayonnaise on a statue?
the only thing I spoiled is the chance for you to waste five hours of your life not figuring that puzzle out!Sho Nuff, get my back on this one
i'm never playing that gameit was, like, a joke, man

Escape from Monkey Island is unbelievably awesome for someone that has never played any of these LucasArts adventure games, although I am at a total loss for where to go now.
I meant Secret, sorry. I don't think you can even buy any of the other Monkey Island games on Steam, save for the new one - which I heard was pretty crappy.

Hell has frozen over
What time do these deals usually go up?

yep, Morrowind and Trine and $5. Red Alert 3 is $10. Painkiller pack is $9. CS:S is $5.Are these the last deals or do they continue tomorrow?
shit, tempted to get trine, but XBLA version is coming out (and I hear the game isn't very well optimized.) I'm in for the Painkiller pack.
not outrageous. I want risen for super cheap.
on second thought, I'll just get Painkiller Black Edition for $4.99 and skip the package. Resurrection has a 38 metacritic rating
I picked up Morrowind.
