If I was to believe what is being said about the game, I'd be really excited for this. But I have nothing to go on but what they say.

still, a fast paced shooter about rhythm and tempo that has the feeling of an action game sounds awesome. Too many shooters these days are about hiding behind some cover, taking a few shots, and returning to cover as your health regenerates.

I'm a bit skeptical. Mikami was the director/executive producer of God Hand, Killer 7 and Dino Crisis 3.

One of the worst games I've ever played. Maybe the worst games I've ever played. PN03, or whatever, was also pretty stupid.

on one hand, the screens could be from any other company and I'd write it off instantly and forget about it. On the other hand, Mikami is kind of the godfather of the over-the-shoulder camera view for shooters. On the third hand, GoW took that camera and put in cover tactics, so Mikami is taking those back, right?

I think people didn't get it, mainly because of the controls. It takes a little while to get use to them.
