I also bought Valkirye Profile 2

Digital Devil Saga 2 has a really great techno rock soundtrack. DDS1 is kind of more mellow and atmospheric rock. Nocturne is kind of a mix of both. All 3 are pretty fantastic either way, game wise and soundtrack wise.

Didn't care for Valkyrie Profile's soundtrack, but I remember the the final boss battle music(I think, the dude with the awesome defeat quotes) was cool.

i got a disc copy off amazon for less than $5. haven't played it yet though. From what I understand, either do stealth or don't play the game, but that the dialog/choice system actually does significantly affect where you go/what you do, unlike ME's meaningless choice after choice. Supposed to be well-written too, like a lot of obsidian games.

edit: actually, I could just send you the disc or something. or we could say I sent the disc and you can just torrent it

nah you can pretty much play the game how you want. You can even go full melee playthrough if you like.

Amazing game, I got the 1000 and enjoyed every second

2K13 is actually one of the smaller versions recently, 2K9 is like 11 GB.

RAGE is a 21GB install. I think that's the biggest game I have on Steam. GTA IV is like 17 GB.

In other news it sounds like there are layoffs going on at the sites owned by IGN (UGO/1up/Gamespy). Looks like Mathew Rorie was let go. WTF he just got hired like a month ago $:-\$ I'm still bitter with his treatment during the giantbomb sale. They really should have kept him on. I hope he lands somewhere good

Cutting back makes sense though. I don't know why you would run IGN and still own a bunch of smaller sites
