So I hear that Mamoru-kun is coming out to both XBLA and PSN. This was a retail release in Japan a few years back... I played the 360 version a while back at Otakon one year and it's pretty cool. Very easy (especially compared to your modern day bullet hell) but it's pretty fun, reminiscent of the Pocky and Rocky games.

If you have not seen nor heard of Souls comparisons to Dragon's Dogma you must have completely ignored anything related to the game. Sit down. Dial down the "gotcha!" bullshit, take your viagra, and shut the fuck up. Perhaps you have been in Japan for too long so English isn't your first language but it is obvious from my queries that I'm not saying DD is like Souls games. After All i have not played it. I am merely trying to see if such comparisons hold merit because the one thing I don't need is another overhyped shitty core game full of jank praised to high heaven because it doesn't hold the players hand.

At least I try not to make judgment calls when I have zero information. And when I make decisions, I can stick with them for more than a week.

'Hype trains' are among the most embarrassing things that happen there. The weekly Famitsu teaser threads which bring out all the Persona fanboys and animu posts make me wish my computer monitor was a Sliders-esque portal that I could punch people through

Said it in the other thread, I'm hoping for diminishing returns, a high price and maximum trainwreck. I'm banned on GAF, if I weren't - I would definitely be banned on Feb 20 for trying to troll over-enthusiastic Sony fans.

I think the past few years of unrewarding hype trains (pretty much every major sequel, exciting new IP, and sequels to exciting new IPs for this gen have played out) have made things stale. so, i'm glad it's a new console year!
