this got recently re-released as freeware,it's a nice minigame collection inspired by old classic such as robotron,pacman and frogger... it plays sort of like warioware except instead of wacky minigame it's games you played as a little kid

DDNeon is sweet and there's little chance of this one topping it. fuck, a raw arcade rom rerelease with trophies would have me more interested.

DD2 is pretty dang good. At the time, we were shocked as fuck when they killed Marian at the beginning. That's kind of a step up from the punch in the stomach

If you havent played I Am Alive, get it. It's fucking awesome. Definitely the best and most survival oriented "end of the world" game I've played. Also has an awesome story arc and ending. The writing, narrative and gameplay are actually engaging and not bollocks. You played it demi?

It blows other recent crap like Deadlight and Walking Dead out of the water

It seemed to play a tad on the janky side and not as "tight" as the classic platformers of yore, but the art style was pretty interesting. This is based only on the demo though. I totally forgot about this game; you don't really hear much about it at all which is surprising for a Suda game.

I believe joy2key and xpadder are the big ones. I preferred xpadder but I want to say joy2key has a bigger community making per game profiles for it. But its been a long time since I looked at either

it's still a PS2 port, so the cutscenes are crappy FMV and it's missing most of the fog and other effects. Mods help a bit. There might be a lot more out there since the last time i checked a few years ago.

the vid in case anyone else nerds out on this stuff:

anyone can see the similarities at the end of the vid-- the menus are practically the same. but also the character's animations when jumping and wall running were practically 1:1 to ninja gaiden, aside from physics. The stage intro splash screen with the red background is in the Sigma series...not as much red in NG xbox, I don't think. But the text formatting is also just like NG.

too bad it only runs in debug mode on modded xboxes , i'd like to try it. Pretty neat stuff...I wonder if it was Team Ninja working on this game or if it's some other team's work that they took for NG.
