So I just got scammed on a N64 game from a third party seller on Amazon, lol. Some asshole from the Dominican Republic sold me a poorly made pirate cart that was corroded beyond repair so it's essentially worthless garbage. I'm working with Amazon to get a quick refund and they're going to investigate the dude.

NOPE. Would've been real funny though.

It was just a non-player's choice of Mario 64. The label was printed on a shitty color printer, lolol. Should've taken the hint when he ignored my requests for further information but I bought it anyway.

It was sent from the Dominican Republic and it took over three weeks to get to me. It arrived in some ghetto ass makeshift package that appears to be a concoction of ripped toilet paper, packing tape holding it all together, and A FUCK LOAD OF STAMPS. The stamps had imagery celebrating Dominican Republic's relations with China so I guess getting a pirated cart was fitting! The cartridge inside was wrapped in about 20 layers of random plastic with horribly mangled Spanish lettering applied all over and was really hard to cut through for some reason. I was concerned for a split second that the dude just straight up sent me drugs and I just happened upon some technologically savvy Latin American cartel operation.

Speaking of F2P, the JP servers of PSO2 are under DDoS right now and have been since Thursday. They've put out statements on their progress dealing with the problem every so many hours, next one is on Monday at I think 2 p.m. their time. They also have a NND broadcast scheduled for the weekend since it's yearly anniversary time for the game. Expect lots of apologizing!

If you have an amd video card you might want to try this. I was surprised at how well the game dvr worked. I've tried a lot of these and the performance hit I always get no matter which program I use, dxtory, obs, etc has always been pretty significant. Enough to not make me do it. But the performance hit with this one for me was barely noticeable. In fact the first time I tried it, I thought it wasn't actually working because I wasn't taking a frames hit.

I realize I'm probably not in a state to make judgements about video games, and I will preface this by saying I was one of the few sick fucks who actually really enjoyed FarCry 2, but Blood Dragon is incredibly meh. It has all the bullshit of FarCry 2 with none of the, for lack of a better term, gravitas.

There's an epithet in casual Dota player circles--tryhard--I feel like this game's sense of humor is really tryhard. Sometimes it makes me laugh, but most of the time it's just something I dismiss while going about my business.

At least the antagonist didn't unironically quote Nietzsche at me upon our first meeting as the one in FarCry 2 did.

I finally made the effort to get a dual shock working with my computer instead of just a wired X360 controller I'd been using for 7 years. Now with the wonders of a working d-pad I can actually play fighting games and 2d action games correctly on steam! :O
