God of War was boring as fuck, i certainly would've liked my 60$ back. 

Started Eternal Cylinder, this game is crazy (in a good way).
Could do with some polish, but i'm hooked.
Love the soundtrack, too.

Not really.

If it's a dunkey-style, shitpost then fair enough but who's out there complaining that a ticket or Blu-Ray for Uncut Gems costs the same as it does for Justice League even though one cost $20 million to make and the other $300,000,000.

Haven't most people realized that after you're done with school, time is your most valuable resource?

That's true although you can consider ROI and push on that as a producer to keep cost low for you and the customer, ideally.
Obviously Nintendo doesn't have to, though. 

At the end of the day though, if they wasted 100 millions to produce, say, The Order 1886, that's really their problem not mine.

I think it's good for the industry, the Star Citizen Scam was getting kinda boring and now we have a new one

and Tommy Tallarico is just the perfect pitchman, he's so trustworthy, plus he takes the fight directly to the haters on social media/reddit/forums (I especially loved how he took the order sales numbers off the webpage so the haters couldn't take them out of context anymore)

They originally announced it would be $150 and the games would max out at $7. Now it's $250 and the games cost $10, but they've locked in the latter price now and apparently it's not covering the cost of development.

This year not so much, even though Far Cry 6 and Forza H5 would probably struggle on my machine, but then the first months of 2022 seem packed with shit.
And tbh i'm skeptical about GPUs going back to normal even in 2023, consoles will probably be fine tho.

This pushes a larger open world though, so it's understandable, still, those landscapes look rough.
As long as it's fun to play, whatever.

I was checking game prices and apparently a sealed White V2 is going for around 250, wtf? Luckily it's one of the few games I didn't unseal when I was going through a phase where I use to unseal all my games even if I didn't plan on playing them.

Actually surprised at how expensive CIB DS games in general are.

DS games are at that phase now - they're nostalgic. Despite piracy and emulation readily available, nothing beats an original (tm)

I have some sealed games too, I'm going back and forth on selling them off myself

I think it helps that Pokemon is pretty hot right now - it does tend to fluctuate, but we are on the cusp of a new release (Diamond/Pearl) along with Arceus, and the card craze and... . . .

For some reason Nintendo also prints the Pokemon games on the cheapest cartridges so most of them only last 3 - 5 years.

They are literally destroying everything. Now Resident Evil 4 dialogue has been censored by the facebook. 

In the first scene above, Leon's original reply to Hannigan saying she was worried is: "Don't you mean lonely? Anyway, I started to feel dizzy, and then I guess I must have lost consciousness." The first five words are lost to static in the VR version. In an earlier conversation, Leon's comment that he'd expected Hannigan to be older is also gone.

In the second scene, Luis' original quote is: "I see that the President's equipped his daughter with ballistics too." Ashley then replies: "How rude. And I don't believe there's any relevance with my figure and my standing. Who are you?" All but the last three words here have been trimmed.

Word that Resident Evil 4's content had been edited for its Oculus VR release first surfaced earlier this month on The Happy Warrior, which complained that Capcom had "allowed Facebook to deface and modify" its classic "to please the gaming media and the social justice crowd". It also claimed the game's final scenes had also been edited, including the line where Ashley asks Leon back to her place, and the entire final conversation with Hannigan where Leon flirts with her further, and comments on her lack of glasses. We haven't yet reached this ourselves so aren't currently able to verify these.

The campy 80/90's movie dialogue is part of the character of the game and even referenced by Osmund Saddler, who says that the American hero prevailing is something that only happens in Hollywood movies.

Leon chillin on these 'too cool for school' video calls after escaping life or death situations makes the game that much more enjoyable. Also, it's Hunnigan you barbarians.

I have mixed feeling.
I don't mind the new models, and i'm happy about the improved controls, but the lighting doesn't look like it fits the rest of the graphics well, in many shots.

Still, i'll probably get it for cheap at some point and re-play GTA3 for the hundredth time.
