I've spent the last two weeks trying to find a decent apartment in my town. It's like pulling teeth. Either the place is extremely old, extremely pricey, or completely unavailable. There have been a few places that just won't answer their phones or call back at all.
I'm going to look at a place later today. I'm hopeful (just slightly) that it will be alright. They only require a six-month lease on it, so it may not be that bad if I find something better in the next year. The only thing I'm worried about it that the owner said the bedrooms are on the small side, but if the place is livable, I might not care too much.
