Had my grandma's funeral/memorial today, and my uncle's is tomorrow. It went pretty well, although I was surprised at how many of the testimonials done by her church members basically boiled down to them saying "she was a nice lady. Yes she was also snappy/feisty/combative but it was due to her fire for the lord!" Eh, I only saw my grandma mad a handful of times, mainly over preparing food. She was head of the culinary group at her church and I'm guessing she must have told a bunch of people off over the years lol

After buying some new dishwasher detergent packets I realized for the last probably 3 months I'd been using laundry detergent packets in my dishwasher because they look exactly the same. Difference is the ingredients as the laundry one has bleach and stuff. Been googling around to see if drinking from glasses washed in laundry detergent is going to give me cancer or something. Can't find anything definitive so far.

I haven't tried daiquiris or margaritas yet in the blendtec. I'm gonna have to try it one night. I keep waking the missus in the middle of the night cause i'm blending stuff.

But I do agree anything with fresh fruit or for that matter veggies is just awesome. I made my own bloody mary mix with habanero peppers, celery, whole tomatoes, uncooked clams, and lime juice. Was the best damn one I've ever had. Even made the salt by blending up dried chipotle peppers, red chili flake, and dried whole anchovies dry in the blendtec.
