Man the job market is bad. I'm reviewing resumes for hiring a temp receptionist and people waaaaaaaaaaay over qualified are applying for this basically minimum wage position.

Sorta, not super far, but places like Chino Hills which is like 40 mins+, especially with traffic.

We're actually looking for a temp receptionist and temp paralegal for a few months and the receptionist position is just flooded with applications. Paralegal one not as much even though it's the better paying job. But that makes sense since more experienced people are more likely to be fully employed already.

The current job market is why I'm glad I didn't go to college. All you suckers with your thousands of dollars in loans, applying to your highly competitive minimum wage salaries and table scraps lost. I get all that without the loans on top of it. I made it.

Nice, my 10 year old beard trimmer is pretty sucky. Basically have to trim too much and let it regrow for a few days to get where I really want it.

I started going to a barber shop this year every couple of months and they great work with my beard. Hopefully using a better trimmer will give similar results.

My only gripe with it is that it doesn't trim the hair near my jaw socket well, but my beard is basically House M.D. permastubble atm so inconsistent cuts are a lot more noticeable.

Dragon-Con is going on this weekend. It's complete insanity right around where I work downtown...cosplay nerds, crazies, and bums make for an interesting mix. They had to make people line up and wait to get on the escalator because, per the station attendant, "ya'll broke this thing last year. We gotta limit the amount of weight that gets on at a time."

What I always found SUPER crazy is that sometimes pubs (this may only be in some countries) pay more per liter then consumers in the supermarket.

They are stuck with mental contracts with the likes of Heineken meanwhile the huge supermarkets force them into lower pricing or sell beer at a loss to atract custom.

I said something like 'Macs are funny like that because they come with a built in python version which gets defaulted too'. Funny meaning odd not haha funny. However he thought it was the other way and tried to force a laugh, which made me smirk, which just reinforced his idea that I meant haha funny. It was a very awkward situation.
