Had the weirdest computer glitch. My internet had been disconnecting and reconnecting since last night. Today I narrowed it down to the Asus Router I have. I tried to access the Asus Router using the normal 192.168.0.1 and it kept taking me to LINKSYS SMART WI-FI even though it wasn't a linksys router. I was completely locked out of my router access and was driving me crazy until I reset the router on the device and then it showed up as normal ASUS router page and asked me to make a new login/password.

Seems fine now. But I have no idea how Linksys somehow too over my router firmware/software to become the default router access when I have no linksys products on my system wtff

That reminds me. One time back in Japan, I was asked to bring in something for the kids to watch during a class. Had no idea and no time to find anything, so I grabbed the first Azumanga Daioh DVD and showed it to the class in English.

Their expressions were pretty much

Well which DVD was it? It takes a good 4-6 episodes for the show to hit its stride it falls of the cliff in the last season so it's particularly important to select the correct vintage

Just went on CNN.com and saw "Breaking news!" Scrawled out in bold red across the top. The breaking news was that Apple reported the first loss in iphone sales ever.

That was a planned loss if I've ever heard of it. They are trying very hard to wean themselves off of iphone sales as their main source of income, hence all of the crap they keep making. They have to get their stock holders to understand that and hopefully they got that today if anything out of this.

Oh and to add to issues irl

Amazon does not like it when you convert 2 grand worth of giftcards into more gift cards to be used at another store. Put my account on lockdown and reported me for fraud they did. But if you don't have what I want and allow customers to do it is it wrong to? So now I've got a frozen account with all of the money sitting on it in some kind of fucked up Phantom Zone. I hope to reason with the council of Amazon in hopes that they see the logic of the problem they've created by allowing customers to buy giftcards with Amazon giftcards.

The censored version of the song East 1999 by Bone Thugs is so much better than the album version. They insert curse words and mess up the flow and even completely remove rhymes just to add a nicca or fuck. I wish I could get some mix between the two because it's an awesome song.

Honestly I don't see how Spotify is making so much money. I mean, I've been to Pandora. I've seen their numbers. I know their margins. The pay per stream is about the same as pandora (except for the really high volume stuff) so I don't know how they're pulling it off. Well, actually I do. They crash their margin to get a ton of users. But still. Seems crazy they can be succesful. I'm a premium member and I can garauntee you they're not making money off me.

Spotify is, in my opinion, by far the best streaming service. I work in the same neighborhood and visit them regularly. Lately they've been introducing great new features and they have plenty more in their pipeline.

That being said there are some issues with this business model. The compensation to artists is very low, their catalog is incomplete, and the mainstream audience is still missing.
