... and North Korea.

Watched game - Chile didn't turn up but man the Brazilian attack is scary - their defense is there for the taking though so the Holland v Brazil game could end up a 4-3 sort of game.

? Son please

3 - 1 against NK
3 - 1 against Ivory Coast
3 - 0 against Chile
3 - 1 against holland

And their defense is there for the taking?  :lol God how much do you suck at watching football.

Chile playing all attack couldn't get shit. The defense was faultless today.

Bleh, forgot it was just 2.

Yeah sure, they didn't trash NK, they just had an easy time. 10 shots on goal vs 3, 63% ball possession...they didn't trash them on goals, but they sure as hell completely dominated them.

I watched the game.

And the stats speak for themselves. Sorry if you are so used to seeing England, that you can't see clearly anymore. Only thing that came out from that was "NK isn't as shitty as its supposed to be".

There's a reason why i gave a pair of stats that work well together. The number of shots on goal (10 vs 3) was there to sway the doubts about the possession.

So, it's really a dumb argument you are trying to make.

You were wrong with your prediction, you were wrong with your analysis of the game, and now you want to be wrong about everything.

They dominated, arguing otherwise is dumb. If that had been Brazil vs Argentina, we would be saying Argentina had been helpless against them.

But whatever man.

We get an Argentinian ref, an Uruguayan linesman, a spanish linesman, and whatever the other one was. Give me a fucking break, we are gonna have an army of spanish speaking individuals on the field.

But Ronaldinho was eye-popping good when he was in form.  Even at Kaka's best, I don't think he's been that impressive, at least not enough to be Brazil's No. 1.  He seems better suited for a complementary role, like Rivaldo.

Sad way for Japan to go out.  I felt like they were the better team for most of the match.

What I really wanna know is why the Jap coach decided to have a defender who's never scored, be in the shootout lineup?

The refs don't hate Ronaldo at all.

But the problem was the attitude, Carlos Queiroz please go home. Take out Hugo Almeirda, start Pepe, Ricardo Costa as fullback, etc

Well I just meant your anger about losing.

I was being ironic.

I'm not angry about losing in the sense that i'm angry about losing. I'm angry because the team had no heart at all, and the manager is just dumb as shit.

About the refs and Ronaldo? Cmon, they hate Ronaldo, clear fouls go uncalled and why? We didn't lose because of that obviously. We lost because Queiroz has absolutely no vision, he can't read a game to save his life, he is complete shit at handling the media and is the softest motherfucker in the locker room. This guy looks like he is on a prize vacation, we can't have that shit.

Hugo Almeida is playing well, and he subs him out of nowhere to get Danny in? A player who has proven worthless countless times, misses many passes, and shows poor intelligence on the field. He puts at the front, when he knows Ronaldo never does well in that locked position, and then when we need desperately to show some teeth, he puts Pedro Mendes in for Pepe who by the way shouldn't have started the game at all, instead of getting Deco in.

And the pure lack of passion and will when Spain was just passing the ball around in the midfield as if they were in training mode was embarrassing.

I don't feel anger(after writing this), because i don't think we deserved to win, i do wish A LOT that Carlos Queiroz leaves the helm, and save us from this waste of time.

Fatass Ronaldo >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> C. Ronaldo

I've always thought that C.Ronaldo was just a typical, overrated EPL superstar and he proved it again.  It just doesn't seem like he can ever dominate unless he's playing on the better side.  I still remember clearly all those passes from Figo that he wasted in the Euro cup finals.

That red card was BS though.  There're so many fouls that go uncalled in a soccer game and the ref decided to pull out a red card in the most critical moment?

Real talk.  Messi is excellent but Ronaldo was a little better at the same age.  There simply has never been a more explosive player with such creativity.

C. Ronaldo chokes in big games and tournaments: fact.

Unless he has a-class players around him of course!  ::)

C. Ronaldo faboys annoy me.

I don't understand your arguments.

The players you so love, were surrounded by amazing players all the time. Do you think these players you call legends are so because they did it by themselves?

Get real, open your eyes, don't be a dumb shit.

Blame youtube guy for that mistake.  Video is too low-res to see the number.

Cajole, I think Messi has better vision but less athleticism and strength.  It was just easier for Ronaldo to blow by several defenders.  Some of his best moves aren't even in that video because they didn't lead to goal.  But in his prime, Ronaldo would pull off spins and crossovers that are usually possible only in basketball.  Messi clearly has the stronger work ethic though, so barring injuries, he could end up as the GOAT.

I think Ronaldo till 98/99 is the best player that has ever lived, the most complete, the most spectacular. For those who like analogies, that motherfucker was Aquiles, perfect but had some though luck when a gipsy motherfucker broke his might.

Messi? He's great man, i think he is the most talented player right now. He's so quick with that feet of his, it's awesome how he just slides through the field.

That said, Cristiano Ronaldo is the other kind of player, the guy is a science project, he is genetically made to be strong in a bunch of areas. He's a true football weapon. He isn't like Ronaldo, that was all that and a creative, he is all that Ronaldo was without the creative. He's a machine, and you either like it or you don't.

He is, without a doubt, the most dangerous player in the world alongside Messi. And he has proven that where it matters, in the league, in the champions league.

He comes to play to Portugal, and he has a shit manager, a tactic that doesn't play to his strengths, and team mates that can't fuel his game. And people call him overrated, then they see Messi playing for an Argentina that plays for him, and has Higuains, Agueros, Tevez, etc and they say Messi, unlike Ronaldo can play great for his national team.

It's unbelievably short sighted. I'm sad for him in that aspect, but then i think guy is making millions and he dazzles at club level  and i have no reason to be sad for him anymore.

And yes Ronaldo is the best ever. I always laugh when people try to make little of other great players when they say they aren't as good as Ronaldo was, well..nobody is, nobody was.

The only player actually, that you can truly compare to Ronaldo is Eusébio. Ronaldo is the brazillian version of Eusébio, the problem is that Eusébio was deemed national treasure and wasn't allowed to write the history book, because he was supposed to go to A.C Milan but fate had him chained to Benfica. One man made a club, one man put Portugal in the football map, that guy was some serious shit.

Ronaldo got the chance to fly, but had his career stopped early.
