You have to give the US team credit though. By them even making it this far in the world cup, they've sparked an interest in soccer (football) in the USA that we've never seen the likes of before. I, for one, think it's a good thing. Soccer is about one of the only sports left in the US that isn't all about the money.

I'm not convinced they've sparked an interest beyond what they already had. Yes, people watched but we watch Olympic sports few people care about too. Other, more popular sports, will continue to scoop up the majority of our best athletes.

As i say - too many players in our team who really have not performed. Rooney is the biggest culprit. He's looked absolute shit.

I agree, England have been playing very sucky.
