Is there anything in sports more overrated than the English football team? I'm not even trolling. They've got good players but it's apparent that they're better suited for complementary roles. As a whole, English footballers have shown that they're completely devoid of creativity and feeble when not playing with world class teammates from other countries. It really makes one wonder why the English team remain one of the most popular in the world.

and i'm hoping for a portugal upset. i've seen nk play against brazil... they were pretty good, actually--their defense was surprisingly and they were pretty fast in the counter attacks. nk's japanese striker (the guy that was crying during the anthem) will score atleast one goal.

It all started with Scolari in terms of change in football style. And in all honestly, the only reason why Brazil is still considered a beast is because of it, football has evolved, today there are smarter people managing than before, and if Brazil kept the pure joga bonito of old they would get reduced to nothing but any team with tactical consistency.
