Remember when LeBron's wingman was Ricky Davis? Darius Miles? He would be in hog heaven with those two guys to pass to.

The biggest problem would getting a serviceable center, because Bosh does not like to get his hands too dirty. Still, those 3 could play most teams 3 on 5 and still come out OK.

That team sort of makes it hard for the rest of the league to win for awhile. I think they could get enough ring chasers to take tiny contracts to fill out the team. I think it would be an interesting experiment to surround the three with NBDL guys and see how far they could push the superstar rules and advantages.

He's a free agent but he's not going to sign for the league minimum, unless i'm very much mistaken. He has his own rings already. I actually have no idea where he's going to sign, but Miami will need someone to guard Dwight Howard at some point.

I actually didn't care about Free Agency too much, because I thought the chances of a superteam really happening with everyone wanting to get money before the CBA of doom came were pretty low. My only interest was a NBA landscape open enough for the Kings to come in and be players for rings.

The Kings cleaned up in the draft for the 2nd straight year, and didn't do anything distinguished mentally-challenged with their money, isn't that good enough for you?

I will say that if he goes to Miami the part that tickles me most is Amare Stoudemire. It's like high school where a kid tries to get into the cool clique and they just blow him off.

If James ends up in Miami, they still need to find an adequate supporting cast. The trio combined for an around 80 points last year. It would be hard to assume that they can share the ball enough to go for 30, 26, and 24 while on the same team. Even if they could, they need to find 25-30 more points per night from somewhere, but realistically, they'll need to find 40 points.

This team will also be a defensive powerhouse, btw - LeBron and Wade are the best defenders at their positions, pretty much. You could argue for a few specialists who only play 10 mins a game, but I think they're the best. Hence, like the Celtics, they could win games in the 80s if they had to. But it seriously won't be hard for the scrubbiest of scrubs to get their points off the kind of looks they'll get with those 3 spacing the floor.

I actually think the team will be a lot more fun to watch if the scrubs are really weak - it'll give other teams a chance. Like kryptonite.

Blame the media.  They are the ones who made Lebron's free agency the sports event of the year while criticizing him for being an attention grabbing egomaniac.

The meltdown in LA is hilarious though.  Lakers fans are pissed that Kobe only got so much attention when he didn't understand that no really means no.

My dream would be for LeBron to go to the Heat and not click and just limp into the playoffs.  A man can dream. :'(

If LeBron went to the "Dream Team" and then they choked in the playoff, that would be the schadenfreude of the century.

Jermaine O’neal signs with celts. Boston is really going for a certain kind of post peak player on the decline.
