What I'm saying is I legit think the Clips are gonna probably dust them tonight because they have to be embarrassed by that last game. Not to mention the coaches for the clippers are too good to not adjust some of the obvious issues they had.

yeah i am thinking that's a wrap for the Mavs.

Blazers too, but Lakers probably benefitted from being tested a bit.

It was pretty easy to see this ass kicking coming. I was disappointed that Porzingis couldn't go tonight. An injury is an injury but he was tossed from one game and now missed two. Very forgettable playoff experience for him.

People in the break room (who don't watch the NBA) were demanding that Lebron be deported to China for making the NBA shutdown, but not even caring when Luka got called a racist slur a few days ago.  :fbm

The two best teams in the Western Conference reportedly voted to sit out the rest of the NBA season following the police shooting of Jacob Blake.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, the Los Angeles Lakers and L.A. Clippers voted not to play. Charania also noted every other team voted to continue with the playoffs in the bubble at Walt Disney World Resort, while LeBron James called for more action from the league's owners.

After the Bucks eventually left the locker room some three hours later and read a statement explaining their decision, all players and coaches still inside the bubble held a meeting to discuss what will come next and whether the season would resume. Members of Blake's family were connected with the meeting virtually, sources said.

While some in the meeting wanted to know why the Bucks made an abrupt decision without consulting any of the other teams inside the bubble -- including the Magic, who were on the court inside AdventHealth Arena warming up until a few minutes before the scheduled tipoff before eventually going back to their locker room -- Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown essentially said that wasn't necessary and fully supported their decision, sources told Wojnarowski.

Eventually, teams were polled about what their preference would be, and the Lakers and LA Clippers both voted to end the season, sources told Wojnarowski, though sources stressed that no final decision on what will happen with the remainder of the season has been made.

Afterward, a source present for the meeting told ESPN there was "no sense of accomplishment" after the meeting, and added there would be a feeling of "uncertainty" until after Thursday's meetings.

Sources said it seems unlikely there will be games played Thursday, either, when the six teams still inside the bubble that were not scheduled to play Wednesday -- the Celtics, Toronto Raptors, Denver Nuggets, Utah Jazz, Dallas Mavericks and Clippers -- are scheduled to return to action.

Sad. I always liked him. He had an unusually diverse game for that time period. He was a bit ahead of his time and kind of the model of how a big would play nowadays.

Lakers versus Thunder or Rockets

Lakers should beat either in theory but each are different things. The Thunder are a traditional matchup with traditional players. AD and Lebron are the two best players on the court though so although Thunder are a gritty team, and I could see it going 4-2 or something like that, Lakers clearly have the advantage.

The Rockets are a complete puzzle with a high top and also a low end. The series could go 4-1 or end up being a death struggle at 4-3 if they connect on their threes. The Lakers often fall asleep defending the three so those shots will be there Playing the rockets is just super annoying.

Well this game is the end of the D'Antoni period for the Rockets imo. Westbrook is gonna get so much shit for this game. He was terrible all night. Baffling that you don't put the ball in Harden's hand. Big time game for Paul.

Great game overall and series.

edit: LOL. I'm an idiot. I went this whole night thinking this was Game 7 for some reason. I went to the rockets reddit to see what they were saying and was confused at all the game 7 comments.

Legacy game tonight for Harden. Not saying its necessarily fair but if he loses tonight without an absolutely killer performance nba groupthink history will not treat him very kindly.

Kind of like the way Karl Malone is in nba purgatory for various reasons.
