If you're buying the same game for multiple people, that isn't possible. You can only add one copy at a time, even though you're gifting each copy.

I have nearly $50 in my Steam wallet I can't touch.  They're fucking blocking me from using money I gave them to hold so that they wouldn't block me from using the other money I was trying to give them.  What in the fucking fuck?

I was buying several gifts for friends, including multiple copies of P.B. Winterbottom, and everything was going fine. When I got to around the 9th purchase I received this message - There has been an internal error initializing your transaction. Please contact support for assistance. I get it for my credit card, and for Paypal. I can't even add funds to my wallet. I know I have plenty of money in my accounts, so this has to be some sort of automatic denial that kicks in after multiple purchases in a row. I'd like this fixed so I won't miss the rest of the sale. As it stands now I'm probably going to miss the F.E.A.R. pack sale.

So I was finally able to get in and add funds to my wallet, and then a couple gift purchases later it happened again. With money you're already holding for me. This probably wouldn't happen so much if you guys allowed adding multiple copies of games to the cart.

Sure you can. Just gift them to one of your own emails, go to "Manage my Gifts" in the client, select the game you want to gift and hit resend. Simple and effective.

I've still got a copy of Saints Row 2 I gifted to myself in my list. Will resend it when someone wants it.

yeah, but you can't send the same game 10 times to the same email, can you?  and you still have to do each transaction individually.  bottom line is, if you have to do a workaround to gift multiple copies to multiple people, it is a shitty system.  something that should have taken me minutes has, between each back-and-forth transaction and getting locked out of using my own goddamned money, taken me hours instead.
