Got myself New Vegas for $25 - nowhere near ready to play it but just in case. Plus GRAW2 for $5, since I enjoyed it on 360.

On the fence about Borderlands now. The 360 version bored me to tears in SP. I know it's a co-op game, but good luck trying to find someone in this time zone of the right level who wants to play when I do.  The PC version looks great though. Probably worth $10.

You've got to be fucking shitting me.  I just bought it a few days ago. :/

Bizarrely enough, the same thing happened when I bought Civ4 off Steam.  It went immediately on sale the very next day.

Almost everything has been on sale at one point, so you're going to get some repeats. Dragon Age: Ultimate is new though, and so is Splinter Cell: Conviction.

I picked up The Ball and BFBC2 Vietnam off D2D yesterday using the 20% off code Joe posted a couple of days ago, only played a little bit of Vietnam but it's got that BF1943 vibe going with lots of wacky kills/deaths

btw, you can use the key code from steam to register BFBC2 on EA and download the game from there, too - it's the version i play, since i'd been having punkbuster issues with the steam version

I think i'm pretty much done with this sale, unless some things from my wish list drop even lower (I don't see it really happening).  I almost bought Flatout and Flatout 2 for $1.75, but I already own Flatout UC, and I asked myself "Do I really NEED two more Flatout games?  Even for the piddly amount of $1.75?"  I think I've just been soured by the whole experience.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotton Sands is real good.  The game totally got screwed by bad marketing as a movie game no one cared about.  I'm about 2 hours in and the game feels like the true sequel to Sands of Time.  Gameplay is almost identical: non-stop platforming across walls and jumps and avoiding traps.  All with really nice HD graphics and enjoyable prince dialogue.

If they put up the game for $5 again at the end of the sale I'll buy people copies because it's that good (assuming you like Sands of Time) and everyone should give it a shot.

bebpo - great to hear that about Forgotten Sands. I picked it up earlier after Patel had good things to say about it. Ass Creed II looks amazing on my PC so I'm trusting this will also be hot shit. And Sands of Time is one of my all-time faves (i picked that up as well).

It's turning into quite a big day for me - got 10 games and counting. <3 steam

I'm on the face about DA Ultimate.  I bought DA original for $25 on steam but never really played it.  Then when Ultimate came out I figured when I do actually play it I might as well get that so I can play it with all the DLC and then play the expansion.  If I hadn't bought the original, $25 would be a steal for the ultimate version, but I don't really want to spend $50 total :X  I would just get the Expansion for $15 but I'm pretty sure all the DLC total up to way more than $10 and after playing ME2 with all the DLC from the start and seeing how much it added to the experience, I never want to play a Bioware rpg again unless I have all the DLC quests/characters installed from the get go.  Might bite.  Dunno.  I keep wanting to start DA since I was so satisfied with ME2 and am interested in another modern Bioware rpg, but I'm in the middle of playing a bunch of stuff and there's more good games coming out every month so I'm not sure when I'll have the time...

Personally I would spend the money just to stop worrying about it. My attitude during these sales is: I'm gonna buy everything now that I might conceivably buy later on, when it'll cost more. Especially for all this stuff I'm double-dipping on. I bought Dragon Age on 360, played about 40hrs, then bought it on PC and played about 30hrs. Whatever, it's a great game and I've enjoyed the crap out of it. I've spent way more on that on games I've never played or barely played.
