okay guys,i found someone selling a 2009 modded 60GB 360 with 2 controllers for 150 euro... is that a good price?
Yes,good price(for EU anyway).
There is one thing though,is the machine banned from live?Find out if you can
Banned machines have "crippled" hard drives, you can't install games...everything will play normally, you will just have to listen to dvd buzz(not a big deal)
Situation is reversible, although it requires some hardware knowledge
Is this a recent thing?
I have a modded PAL system that was banned on Live in early 2008 (before the update that allowed you to install games). Then some months later I was playing Riddick: Dark Athena and my legit xbox crapped out so while waiting for it to be repaired I played Riddick on my modded system and it actually installed the new NXE OS off the disk before I could play. Now that modded xbox allows me to runn and install games to the hard drive.
It started a year ago...
I have to correct myself

,you can now install games on banned consoles(even if they ban you today).MS returned that option via update, reasons unknown(probably some legal stuff).
So even if someone has banned 360 that can't install games,he can return that ability by updating the console
But the console will flag(not trusted source) saves and profile, they will work fine on banned console, but you won't be able to use them on a different console .
Earlier bans are not affected by this
